Was craving a bowl of pho and found this place.
It has all the classic items I like. Portion sizes are filling and affordable. Nothing fancy. You get a small plate of bean sprouts, a lime wedge 🍋‍🟩, thai basil, and different sauces (hoisin, sriracha, chilli oil).

Pho came out steaming hot. I like how the beef has a thicker cut and doesn’t have the frozen texture to it. Broth is mild with a sweet note at the end. Really appreciate the finer texture of the chilli oil. No whole seeds to get stuck in my teeth. If you’re scared of strong spices, this is the soup to get 😋 If your tastebuds are bored, add more sauce.

One thing that amuses me is when I hear customers coughing from the spice of the food. Will have to come back and try more items.

Not sure what some of the low reviewers are talking about. Look, you're not gonna get magically transported to the back streets of Saigon with a life changing Vietnamese culinary experience. What you are gonna get. Is a good bowl of pho for $12. Staff is nice. Sit down, eat your soup.

Terrible service. The man was extremely rude. When I asked for some hoisin with my meal he was angry with me and asked me to pay. Horrible experience.

The food is pretty nice. Both times I have gotten take away, they have seemed really put out. They got my order wrong and sighed and said “It’s going to take a long time to change it.” I asked for extra chilli and from the table in a container and twice they told me it was already in the food. Prices are good and food is good, but won’t go back.

This is one of our favourite go-to family restaurants in North Vancouver! We love the food, service is always fast, friendly and excellent. It's also very reasonably priced for our family of four, in a convenient location with free parking!!

Came by to try the spring roll as soon as they opened. The male owner asked me "one spring roll?", as if I did something wrong 😡. Went away, talked to his wife while ignoring me the whole time. I never felt so unwelcomed to go to a restaurant so I just left. Never coming here to eat again

Great place for a quick meal, with definitely an above average quality taste.

Came for lunch on the way to work with 3 of my colleagues. We noticed the hours are 11-8pm, but despite 2-3 calls to the restaurant that went unanswered, we had to wait until 11:30 for them to open up. Upon placing our orders for a large house special pho, a large rare beef and beef ball pho, vegetarian noodle soup, the grilled bbq chicken on fried rice, and finally 2 Vietnamese iced coffees. After a standard wait for the first 3 dishes, we each found our food bland and a much smaller portion than anticipated after ordering the large size. The rare beef and beef ball pho only had 3 pieces of beef ball and the house special had little to no tripe. The vegetarian noodle soup kind you we all tried and collectively agreed it was blanched vegetables and noodles in hot water. This was my friend’s first time trying Vietnamese iced coffee and after waiting 15min for it to finish dripping he was shocked at how little there was. The chicken and rice dish showed up after we had all gotten through about 60% of our food and he had the same reflections: small portion, bland and generally just mid.

We went in around 1:15pm thinking it would be a quick lunch but waited for 45 minutes for 2 orders of pho soup noodles. How is this possible? I would have walked out but my partner was too polite to leave. Don’t bother going since the pho were not very good either when they finally showed up.
