Seeing the facade, if you are not a local, you may mistakenly think that it is closed because it looks so historical. The interior lighting is also a bit dim….
It's about 4 o'clock, not yet meal time. Unexpectedly, as soon as I walked in, there were 4 or 5 tables of diners inside.
I thought it must be delicious, it is indeed my food🥰
Raw beef pho: The meat slices would be more delicious if they were softer, and the soup is good.
Fried spring rolls: This is my favorite. They are thin slices of meat rolled with shrimps. They are so good.
Also, I forgot the name of this: rolled and fried with sugar cane, it’s pretty good too.
Chili🌶️very tasty~

Still the same as it was when I first came here 10 years ago!
This pho spot has a history in North Van, and the flavor remains just as delicious.
Prices have gone up, but given the portion sizes, it’s still reasonable.
The nearby construction makes parking tricky, and the interior is starting to show its age, but for me, it was a nostalgic experience.

Not satisfied. Did an uber eats order and specifically requested for chopsticks and spoon to eat my pho. Both did not arrive with my order and now I am unable to eat my order properly.

Food was fine. I have no complaints.
Furniture, carpets and the rest of the decor is very aged. 80s?
From the little parking lot to the entrance you pretty much have to walk through the mud. This is the least attractive restaurant entrance I've seen in I dodn't know how many years. It's sad, because fixing it seems like a minor job. Remove the dirt and throw some stepping stones. $100 repair?

Maybe because it's an old building, the bathroom has a smell. Nevertheless, the reason I go is because I can eat the most delicious Pho at Nolben.

This location in North Van has a really vintage, old school vibe - there’s even a coat check booth and a bar, maybe from the original restaurant. Now, It is a favourite of mine when I’m in the area - great Pho (and other dishes), and great service.

The food was delicious. I recommend getting their spring rolls. Also, the staff were friendly and very accommodating. We will likely be back.

I've been a loyal customer for the past 10 years. Despite the run-down appearance of the building, the food there is truly some of the most delicious in the area and is very reasonably priced.

The food is amazing - both tasty and large portions. This is my go to pho spot but their other dishes are very good too. The building is another story but if you can look past it, the food is worth the visit!
Parking: Depends when you go as to whether there are spots available but they have a handful for customers
