Over charged by 50$ for a bottle of wine, that was not enjoyed by me. Had to make an extra trip back there to get reimbursed. They were very good about it, apologetic. The food was good, it was a nice birthday dinner for my sis. Even with the mishap, I recommend it.
Mid- afternoon with friends for Oysters and Mussels... excellent service. Great food. A delightful surprise.
We booked at Pier 7 outside on the patio to watch the drone show. It was fabulous evening! My poke bowl definitely needed flavour, though the ingredients were fresh and crisp. Can't go wrong with Wine Wednesday when a bottle of wine is the same price as a 9oz glass. :-)
When we arrived we had made reservations for Thanksgiving Turkey dinner, but were notified when we arrived that they had run out of turkey. While this was initially incredibly disappointing, our waiter and the Manager on duty went above an beyond to compensate for the unfortunate turn of events. Not only did they offer us complimentary welcome beverages, but also provided us with a round of dessert on the house, which my three kids were more than thrilled with. As a prior restaurant manager myself, I know that sometimes things are out of your control and how you try to ensure that all guests receive exemplary service. Pier 7 did this and more. The meals we did eat were outstanding and the service by all members of the team were amazing. Next year we will make earlier reservations to ensure we get that elusive turkey! Thank you again for turning our evening around.
Delicious although dessert did not arrive Before bill As it was included 3 course may we enjoy credit
The Prime Rib I was offered last evening was terrible. It was a slab of raw beef put on a grill. I ordered the prime rib medium rare. The piece of meat I received was rare inside with grill marks on the outside. A prime rib is roasted in an oven. This obviously was not. Pier 7 should be ashamed for offered this meal. Service was good.
You can't beat the view from Pier 7. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The only downside is the food. My friend had the prime rib $40 which was full of gristle and not tasty. I had the rolled stuffed turkey $36 which was mediocre. Our sides were $8 each so we split potatoes and asparagus. Far too expensive. My friend asked for more au jus for the prime rib but was told it would be $4 extra. She needed it to make the beef more palatable for her but annoyed that they wanted to charge her $4. I will think twice before I go there again.
Food was phenomenal. Really enjoyed the surf and turf however servers offered terrible experience. Always having to ask for things, mixing up food items and waiting 10 minutes after being seated to be greeted.
Service and foods was very good. However, was very disappointed that for the celebration of my son's 21st birthday; they did not even bring out a cake with a candle; despite earlier in the day they called to confirm and ask for the spelling of his name. The server advises at time of the payment he was not aware, even though it was listed on my booking through Open Table. It's the small things that make the difference! They did refund the cost of his cheese cake.
Had the best birthday dinner here! The food, atmosphere, and service were amazing. Thank you for making my day special! 🎂💫

Was looking forward to eating at Pier 7 for the 1st time, but disappointed. There was a wedding party upstairs that had most of the servers attention. We barely saw our server and had to wait 20-30 mins between ordering drinks, food etc. wine was never topped off, didn't refill waters. If the wedding party needed more staff, then reservations should have been taken accordingly. Took us 3 hours to finish our meal and we could have done it all in an hour and half. Food was good but for the price point, service was sub par to say the least.
Pier 7 is a great place to take out of town guests and is one of our "go to" restaurants. The location at the Quay and view of Vancouver from its waterfront location is wonderful. We were greeted and seated by friendly staff. Our server was very businesslike and somewhat brusque but efficient. The eight members of our group enjoyed their menu selections. I was disappointed, though, to see Atlantic , assuming farmed, rather than all Wild Pacific salmon on the menu.
Pier 7 was absolutely the worst dining experience I have ever experienced . Our server was just terrible and the food was just awful. Our server had told us she was from the Ukraine and was here because the war over there. We asked her how she liked Canada and her response was “I hate it here Canadians are too liberal and all Canadians are stupid people I can't wait to get home” Everything about this dining experience was awful i highly recommend never going and with staff like they should be out of business soon and i hope this helps with that.
Always enjoy going to Pier 7! You can't beat the view and the variety of food choices is excellent. I tried the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl, and found it very tasty, but could have used a bit of soy or ponzu sauce on the side to jazz it up. My companions has the Caesar salad with prawns and the Prawn Pomodoro; both gave their meals rave reviews. .
Appreciated the window table with great view even in a cloudy day! The food was amazing, especially mussels wow, juicy& delicious; and our waitress was incredible. Will be back, probably soon
