We had an amazing experience at Pier 7 Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit.
The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every dish we tried was fresh and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere, combined with the great service and quality food, made for a wonderful dining experience.

Highly recommend Pier 7 for anyone looking for great food and exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back!

I visited Pier 7 in North Vancouver today for my birthday dinner. While booking the table, I clearly mentioned it was a birthday, but there was zero acknowledgment — no mention, no small gesture, and we weren’t even asked if we wanted to order a birthday dessert or cake, which was disappointing.

We spent over $210, and unfortunately, the food quality did not match the price or expectations. The food was average at best. The location and ambiance are nice, but overall the experience felt underwhelming, especially for a special occasion.

Hope this feedback helps improve service and food quality for future guests.

Best Happy Hour in the Shipyards! Great food, service and prices - not to mention the best view of the harbour.
Our server Tamrin and manager Sebastian (hope we spelled those right) made this a memorable afternoon. Thanks!

What was supposed to be a memorable night to celebrate my sixth anniversary, turned into a deeply disappointing experience. Having noted that we were celebrating this, I expected a more elevated experience from seating and overall service. From the moment we stepped in, the host seemed overwhelmed and unwelcoming. Secondly, we got seated at the outskirts of the patio section that was unheated and dark. After waiting about 15 minutes without being greeted, the server assistant came by with waters and we kindly asked to be moved to the centralized patio area, which took another 15 minutes. After being re-seated, despite the server acknowledging that we wanted to move we were never formally greeted. My main concern, however, was how the server seemed sporadic and seemed like he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. For example he was greatly disorganized (we didn't have our waters filled for the better half of service, our orders were wrong multiple times, and we had to ask another server for things), would disappear for a long stretch of time, and would come back in a rush addressing us in a panic. While we could see that he was constantly busy, the way that he was acting was truly bizarre. I have mixed feelings about my visit. On one hand, while the food and drinks were good, this service left a bad taste overall. This location has great potential and we hope that things improve.

Happy hour at PIER 7 is an absolute winner. Their waterfront location has stunning views of the Vancouver skyline and harbor that instantly elevate the experience.

The happy hour menu offers great value, with well-crafted cocktails, solid wine & beer options, and tasty small plates that are perfect for sharing.

Service was friendly, attentive, and relaxed, making it easy to linger and enjoy the moment.

0/10 food, 0/10 service, the only thing holding this place up is the view. Food is very heavy and greasy, and very flavourless. Felt very nauseous after leaving this restaurant, and still feel very sick this morning too. The whole party who attended also feels sick. After reading all the reviews in regards to food poisoning, I'm truly worried our party that attended last night is experiencing the same...........Do not recommend at all! This was by far the worst meal I have ever had my in life!!! $300 bill plus tip is outrageous for a restaurant like this, and to top it off getting sick from the food!!! VERY disappointed!

Overall it was really good, our server Michaela was really kind and did not interrupt out of turn, she met our needs and kept the table clean. I was impressed! Food was all really good too. Thank you!

Service was horrible, was 20 minutes before our sever came to the table. Ordered the peppercorn tuna steak. Was a few slices of tuna. Ordered the prawn pomodora and it was over cooked. Felt like it was something i would make for my kid if I was in a rush to feed him. $200 was our bill would have gotten better value at McDonald's. Dont recommend this place at all and everyone I have talked to said the same thing. Wish I talked to them before I wasted $200 on this joint!

A nice restaurant in a great location. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was very good and served in a timely manner. The ambience is great. A nice waterfront spot!

Went for a bday and it was mediocre at best. The service was terrible. The server never once filled our water glasses, didn’t know anything about dietary needs, and when we ordered a cider she just put a closed can of cider on the table. I had to wait to flag her down to get some ice. It took us forever to get a second drink because she just couldn’t be bothered to come back to check on us. We didn’t even try again. We tried to get more food and it was honestly difficult to get anything celiac friendly so I just sat there while the rest of the table got more food. Same thing happened with dessert. What a total let down.

On a gorgeous fall day, we decided to visit North Vancouver to get the sea view to Vancouver. The photos of Pier 7 shows that might be the place for a good view. They have a completely protected and heated patio. In fact, at one point, we were so warm we had to move away from the overhead heaters. My pre-research of their menu shows that I would have limited vegan menu options. So, I went for the Pier 7 Poke Bowl with the choice of crispy tofu instead of the Impossible Burger which would still mean getting brioche bun (made with eggs) or use a lettuce wrap which is just lame. The cucumber pieces in the Poke Bowl were cut so tiny it was ridiculous. I should have substituted salad leaves for the mango which were quite unripe. The purple cabbage slaw was left out of the Poke due to mayo. The chickpeas did not make an appearance. We do not like large portions, but the food portions at Pier 7 were extremely small. The salmon burger was mostly bun with a very small piece of salmon belly, about 1/3 the size of the salmon compared to, say, SteamWorks, or even Shaughnessy Restaurant. The fries that came with the burger were super fluffy and did not taste like fresh cut potatoes. We've been going out for brunch every week. This was one of the most disappointing Sunday brunches we had in a long while.

Pier 7 never disappoints! Happy hour comes with gorgeous waterfront views, with some oysters, hamburgers and chicken wings. Such a perfect place to unwind and feel a little spoiled after a long day.
