Rebellious Tomato

Ok one huge thing you need to know about this lovely local pizza place BEFORE you order.

We did not do this and didn’t realise until we read a review on here from a chap who says the same thing, then we read the flyer on the box which we thought was just another flyer, it’s not!

You need to cook your pizza for an additional few minutes in your own oven before eating.

The pizza here is cooked not in an oven but on conveyor rack, like the toasters you get in hotels. Therefore the crust will seem undercooked. As the photo shows the inside of our crust was almost raw due to this cooking process. So heat your oven up before ordering then whack it in the oven when you get home. This really should have been mentioned when we collected.

That said. This place has wonderful service, really friendly and welcoming and the 16inch pepperoni was very flavourful and delicious, so know doubt when finished in an oven it will be super.

The pizza is actually next level, if you’re looking for proper pizza made with quality ingredients then rebellious tomato is the place for you. The owner is very kind and the atmosphere is super unique and homey. Couldn’t recommend this spot more.

Vegetarian options: The flavours on our pizzas were great!

Dietary restrictions: I wanted dairy free and partner gluten free and both were happily accommodated. I can do goat cheese so their feta was welcome.

Just tried it for the first time tonight, amazing pizza. Price justified the quality, it’s solid. Crust is unreal — I got the vegan one which was fantastic. Will be coming here again! Owner was also super friendly — seems like a solid dude who likes making awesome pies.

Seriously some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The owner is incredibly friendly and the pizza is always consistently delicious

Whenever I buy pizza from somewhere else.. there is always leftovers. But when I buy from this place, pizza box is always left empty...Come try this place out. Their pizza is great! ?

Our first vegan pizza! Ordering pick up freshness, all OnPoint, and excellent! Large was a lot for two people but we managed! :-)Even Fleckie had a look :-)This place seems to have two names so for a moment the pick up was a little confusing.Kind of wondered why a place called the rebellious tomato didn’t have tomatoes on the pizza… anyway we will add to that NEXT TIME.

We ordered delivery and it was so fast! The pizza was very good. The thin crust is great.

I called at 8:15 pm for a delivery in North Vancouver. Ordered a large Detroiter pizza. Gave the guy on the phone my address. He said it would arrive within 30-45 minutes. It's now 9:40 pm, no pizza has come and they're closed and not answering the phone. Not impressed.
