I love the community that Roastmastirs supports. There's a really friendly atmosphere in here, the coffee is good, the staff are friendly.
Terrific staff and service, plus wonderful coffee and pastries.
Huge coffees with a nice price.
Coffee was good. Place was clean. I understand times are tough and you have to cover your bills but the food was ridiculously over priced for the quality. I honestly could have overlooked that but the drip Coffee was more expensive than a fancy Starbucks drink and it honestly was a little offensive
Was on the area shopping for Boxing Day and needed a coffee, went to get ourselves some coffees and snacks, got some drinks to go and snacks being generous with tip on take out, only to be disappointed at first sip. the shots must be small shots as both the Americano and cappuccino tasted like it had very little coffee, perhaps the mild taste makes it good, not for us. The lady making coffee was more interested in chatting with her friends than making the coffee and the guy at the counter is in a rush to take the order not giving you much chance to browse the menu. Atmosphere = elderly
Great little coffee shop. Alot of the food is made up by the owner and you can tell the difference. It's called quality! You pay a little more but well worth it. I love supporting small non franchise shops. Service is always, with a smile!
Love the coffee, the desserts and the staff is super friendly!
The owners of this coffee shop displayed extremely dishonest behavior during my visit.
I ordered a veggie sandwich, and at first, they told me they didn’t have any. A few moments later, they changed their story and said they did. I then saw them take a ham sandwich from the display case and bring it to the kitchen. Realizing what they were about to do, I immediately told them not to use the ham sandwich to prepare my veggie sandwich.
They insisted, “This isn’t for you; it’s for another customer.” However, I had been the only customer there for at least 10 minutes before and after this interaction, so their claim made no sense.
When they finally gave me my sandwich, I was nearly certain it was the same ham sandwich with the ham removed and replaced with vegetables. I told them again that I wouldn’t eat it if it had previously contained ham. They assured me it was a “new” sandwich, but I didn’t trust them. Ultimately, I paid the full price with a tip and threw the sandwich in the trash in front of them, as I was 99.99% sure it wasn’t freshly prepared.
Here are three reasons why I believe they were dishonest:
1. Initially, they claimed they didn’t have veggie sandwiches but changed their statement when they realized I wouldn’t order something else.
2. I witnessed them take a ham sandwich and bring it to the kitchen, likely intending to modify it.
3. There were no other customers during this time, contradicting their claim that the ham sandwich was for someone else.
If they are willing to lie over a $5 sandwich, it raises serious concerns about their integrity when it comes to more significant food orders.

Roastmastirs is the best coffee shop on the north shore. Most of the baked items are made onsite. The coffee beans are roasted onsite. The owner and his wife are very friendly and will always greet you.
Vegetarian options: Most of the items are available as vegetarian. The soup is meat-free and the sandwiches are custom made.
Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is on Lonsdale.

I had the best lentil soup here in this cold rainy day! I ordered an espresso macchiato with Soy milk too and the flavour was a little different- perhaps as they roast the beans in house?
Vegetarian options: The lentil soup was awesome!
Dietary restrictions: They have soy and oat milk. They also provide honey as I don’t ingest sugar
Kid-friendliness: There was a sweet little girl there playing on her mum’s phone
Wheelchair accessibility: Street level

I was really excited to get an organic coffee. I ordered a soy latte with honey. The soy milk was organic and the honey. I was really disappointed in the coffee. It was very bitter and did not have a fresh or good flavor. I paid $7.75 for a large soy latte. Atmosphere was okay and service was subpar. I asked the batista to add honey to my latte and she said you can do it yourself and handed me my espresso before she added the soy. I'm not likely to come back.
Vegetarian options: They offer soy, coconut and oat options.
