Speaking as a patron of the Commercial Dr. location since it's opening, I say - don't bother. Two days ago I ordered a sesame with cream cheese schmear to go and I couldn't finish it. It was garbage. What was once a reasonable quality (if overpriced) product is now a small, pricey, tasteless, dense, dry undercooked, low quality lump. A bagel should be a miracle ring of dense sweet almost nutty flavor with a warm, toothy exterior and tender, springy interior. In no way is this an acceptable product let alone a "Montreal Style" bagel. Take your money elsewhere.

Price of $17 for a lox bagel is just outrageous. Barely the size of my palm and so over priced. Still

I was visiting with my partner on vacation. We were really craving bagels for our road trip. I think the bagels were just okay nothing special and on the smaller side considering they are speciality bagels! Service was fast and easy.

Best bagels in the city...hands down. Also try the pickles...super good and well priced for gourmet pickles!

Bagels were stale. Not good if you're a bagel store. You should NEVER sell stale bagels.

drove from Burnaby early Sunday morning specifically to get some bagels. We usually get the dozen day olds. Decided to pay more to get exactly what we wanted. I said it slowly 2 sesame, 2 poppy seed and 2 rosemary. I got home to find 6 rosemary. We were the only ones there. Not sure how??NB FYI rosemary bagels have quite a bit of the rock salt on the exterior.. They do not usually have so much salt. If it were not so far I would drive back. trying to pick off the salt.

We have always heard such rave reviews about Rosemary Rocksalt Bagels! We we're excited to stock up with a couple of dozen while in the area.We purchased a dozen everything bagel and cinnamon raisin. We struggled to slice them to begin with. Both varieties were off in taste, and as a result we have had to pitch them out. With the price of groceries this was a big disappointment. We bought fresh prepackaged beside the cash register. We did not purchase day olds.Regarding service the young lady on the till was superb!

The bagels are wonderful, but the serving staff appears dull and uninterested. They don’t accept cash, but they will happily take it as a tip.?

Came here for an early morning breakfast. We have never had a Montreal bagel before and had a good experience. Softer exterior and less rubbery than bagels in the States generally are. Which made it perfect for a breakfast sandwich. 2 in our party got the Montreal meat on sesame and enjoyed it. I got the Yaletown on an everything and while delicious I’m glad I had floss on hand for after but that’s just how this topping goes! They were sold out of the rainbow bagels and seasonal/special bagels by the time we got there so they must be popular.
