Favourite sushi spot on the North Shore. Their salmon oshi rivals Minami/Miku! Very delicious and always on time for pick-up.

Great local sushi spot! I just wish it was a little bigger - it's basically a cute hole-in-the-wall type place. Great quality sushi for our area (small town) but like many other places, their prices jumped so much in 2023 we no longer go there unless it's a rare special occasion.

This meal was one of my favourite sushi meals of my life! I've been very fortunate to experience sushi almost weekly since I emigrated here from the UK 15 years ago. Hands down, this was in my top 2 favourite sushi experiences. Eat here, tell your friends to eat here and share the love to anyone and everyone you know!

Update Nov '23 - Portion sizes were really small and pricey. Ordered Ramen which literally had two thin pepperoni like slices of meat. Special rolls were thin cut , bland and small portions too.Previous post : Great food , good service. Might seem a bit pricey but amazing quality.Parking: Free parking

I wouldn't say I'm a ramen expert, but I'd like to think that I can tell the difference between good ramen and flavorless pond water with cardboard pieces floating around - this place produced the latter. It was so bad that I immediately called the restaurant back hoping it was some form of terrible joke. Alas it was in fact what they produced. Not all bad, they offered me credit for my next visit - which makes total sense seeing as (i) im a tourist so will likely never return; and (ii) I would never go back seeing as my first experience was so bad (so bad that I downloaded Yelp and made an account for the sole purpose of writing this review).

On a cold evening , you want a warm bowl of instant ramen you can make at your own flat, this is the place. Not only do they provide you with instant noodles as part of their ramen, but they also have one of the choice pieces of chashu pork. Zero flop, and drier then the Sahara dessert. If that is what comes to your mind for a instant ramen, this is the place. Or if you rather have gourmet ramen, please head to Danbo Ramen ! Look at this bowl !

I expect many do takeout business with Sapporo Kitchen but eating inside provides the benefit of receiving food immediately after it is cooked. That’s particularly delightful when it involves crispy tempura. Partner really enjoyed chicken teriyaki and I liked the tonkotsu ramen. Friendly, prompt service, and reasonable prices.

Happy to have found a solid sushi restaurant who does their rice right in north van not your typical americanized sushi joint! Small space that fills up quick and I can see why!To name a few highlights:- Ended the day with frosty mugs and Sapporo ON TAP - iykyk- Assorted tempura was bloomed and fluffy but their dipping sauce.. I wish they sold it.. so good (they make it in house)- Nigiri quality was like that of a high end restaurant and their rice was chefs kiss (portion and texture) **Aburi salmon belly and toro just melted in my mouth- If you can handle spice, please try their Tonkotsu ramen (make it spicy) it is so good and stress relieving hot! Post deep cove paddle board sesh worthy!- Also had the master chef roll and they do a thin layer of rice and sauce was the perfect balance no need for soy sauceYou can tell they use quality ingredients and know what they are doing ?? also appreciated our server genuinely checking in on us super attentive and welcoming.

Amex accepted. Quite little Japanese restaurant at Deep Cove. The service and atmosphere are great. The soup in the tonkotsu ramen is flavourful but on the mild side, not the typical tonkotsu with pork lard. The sashimi is fresh, but the tuna was not fully defrosted. The sapporo combo is okay.
