We came for dinner, it took 15min to get a server to even come to our table. 15 more minutes to get a sparkling water. We were ready to leave when a starter showed up. We got a charcuterie plate with no explaination about the cheeses or any parts of it. We then were convinced to stay, Ordered a seafood platter that was lack luster and not close to worth the $90. Oysters were not shucked correctly, barely even there. The mussels were undercooked and the shrimp werent fully deveined. Overall probably to worst customer experience and food experience from what seemed to be a great choice for a night out. Our server was warm and polite, the support staff were not. The service was incredibly slow. For the price point, it was appauling. It was a quiet night and just a very bad experience.

As I was enjoying my meal, I began to notice something disturbing: numerous black dots scattered across the walls of the restaurant. Upon closer inspection, I realized that these dots were actually flies and bugs. To my dismay, there were countless insects visible around the dining area, creating a highly uncomfortable atmosphere.

While the quality of the food and service remained good, the presence of so many flies completely overshadowed the positive aspects of the visit. It was an unsettling sight, and I found myself increasingly concerned about cleanliness and hygiene.

Full marks to the Seaside Provisions for a fantastic early New Years Eve dinner with friends. Great food and service and we left feeling we had a lovely evening.

I have to say, this is the worst place I’ve been to in Metro Vancouver! I will never visit this place again and strongly recommend others don't go as well.

Here’s what happened: Today, my friends and I went to this restaurant without a reservation. The host informed us that we’d need to wait 10-15 minutes, so we agreed to wait. However, shortly after, two separate WHITE couples, who also didn’t have reservations and arrived later than us, were seated immediately.

Confused, we asked the same host why they were seated ahead of us despite not having reservations. She insisted that they did have reservations, even though we clearly heard otherwise on two occasions. When we questioned her further, she claimed we were mistaken and then proceeded to ask why we were still waiting. She explained that reservations are prioritized and informed us that our wait time had now increased to 45-50 minutes.

At this point, it became clear that this restaurant does not treat all guests equally and we don't deserve to be their customer. If this place only prioritizes white customers, I feel obligated to warn others who are not white to avoid it altogether. This kind of behavior is unacceptable.

Sat at the bar for a quick cocktail, Martin the bartender was awesome! The staff were so friendly, and the espresso martinis were awesome too.

Stay away. Yes, they were busy amd there's a buzz but: a cold ribeye steak, Brussels sprouts that were drenched in oil and burned, and wines that we had to go to the bar to get because the waiter spent more time partying at the bar than working. Dreadful.

Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator from underground parking opens directly into the restaurant lobby. Flat on both ends, as I recall, but you should double check with the restsurant. Space is crowded so I'm uncertain of wheelchair maneouverability.

The Wagyu carpaccio with real truffle, and prosciutto flatbread were the real standout dishes. Great turf selection for a seafood restaurant.

I recently dined out with my friends, and it was an amazing experience! We ordered Cheese and Charcutries, flatbread, fries, ribeyes steak and their famous Crispy whole chicken. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish exceeding our expectations. The service was impressively fast, and our server Paris was incredibly professional, attentive, and friendly, making us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was exceptional—perfectly designed to create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We had such a great time and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

My boyfriend and I have been there several times, but last Friday we ordered a bottle of wine and a cheese board as a starter, then for the main course we had to wait 1 hour, as it was already 11:00pm the waiters were cleaning as we were having a dinner. It’s a shame that food is good , but we didn’t ask to wait this long for our mains , and to start closing up while we were still waiting (didn’t even have our plates) was extremely unwelcoming and uncomfortable.

The atmosphere and overall setting was very clean and nice. The appetizer cheeseboard made by farzaneh was beautifully made and tasted lovely our whole family shared. The main dishes made by the chef Donya were amazing too with such high quality ingredients. Our server Paris was super kind and helpful as well. The highlight of our time here was sharing the cheeseboard as it was the best I’ve had in the city. Overall an excellent first time experience, will definitely be coming back. Totally recommend!

I had an awful experience at this restaurant that I still can’t get over. After finishing our meal, we left a tip that we felt was fair based on the level of service we received. However, the server gave me a nasty look, making it very obvious that they weren’t happy with the amount we tipped.

This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable. Tips are supposed to reflect the service, not be treated as an entitlement. As a customer, I don’t expect to be judged or disrespected for what I decide to tip.

The server’s reaction made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, as if they valued tips more than the actual customers. A restaurant should be a place where people can enjoy their meal, not leave feeling insulted or embarrassed.

I would never go back to this place. If you value respect and professionalism, do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant. There are plenty of places where your business is truly appreciated, regardless of how much you tip.

We have been going to Seaside for years and the quality and standard of the food & the service is excellent. They have expanded the wine list and have an impressive cellar but retained the same menu which is extremely limited. The menu is an A4 page long, full of appetisers, there needs to be a menu to complement the cellar. I would also encourage a wine tasting or a wine club which would be fun, unique and boost their profile. Thanks to Nevena for serving and Jacky the excellent Sommelier.

We were a group of 7 who spontaneously decided to try this restaurant for happy hour and we were glad that we did. The server, Veronica, was such a pleasure as well as being efficient. We shared the mushroom flatbread, truffle fries, buttermilk chicken and a cheese plate. Everything was so tasty. We all had the happy hour wines and all (red, white and rose) were of great quality. We all agreed we were going to go back again and we would recommend it. We hope to get Veronica again as our server!
