I have been away for a few months and upon my return prioritized a trip to my favourite restaurant, Sempre Uno! It did not disappoint! We usually dine family style, but due to some dietary restrictions we each ordered our own meals. The tuna tartare ranks amongst the best anywhere, and my Strozzapreti Al Ragù Di Maiale (a pork ragu) is rich and delicious. We shared a Gorgonzola cheesecake to finish and all I can say is yummy!! Great staff & servers to guide the experience. I look forward to many return trips in the future!

This is a beautiful restaurant and the attentive staff made us feel special. Servings are sufficient in size, but you won't be taking any home with you. The presentation of the dishes was artistic and every bite was delicious, although my husband found his tenderloin steak to be less tender than one would expect for this cut of meat. The sommelier helped us choose an affordable wine that paired wonderfully with both of our dishes. I look forward to going back!

Very authentic atmosphere and ambience that reminded me of restaurants in Italy. However, the food was not amazing. I really enjoyed the beef carpaccio and the risotto was not bad. But the scallop was a tad overcooked, the dessert was a blend of ingredients thrown together that did not compliment each other and I did not love their cocktails. Overall, not a bad experience but I probably would not go back again.

Amazing food. Fruits de Mare pasta was the best I’ve ever had. Beet salad was wonderful. Pistachio and prawn pasta tasted unbelievable. And the lamb- omg. Wouldn’t fail to recommend this place. We will be back.

We had a sumptuous meal here. Pricey but the quality and service is on point. Might be the only real fine dining left on the North Shore. We will definitely be back.

This is my girlfriend's and I new favourite place. Great drinks, food and atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and professional. We had the pleasure of being served by Lana. She was so friendly and made the whole experience very pleasant for us. Her recommendations were excellent too.Bobby was our bartender and he is an artist in making drinks.I highly recommend this place for date nights with loved ones and family, or even if you just want to have a high quality meal.Their menu is great, but definitely ask for the night's specials as some times they have items that are not on the menu.Parking: Paid parking garage at the hotel on the other side of the street.

Update March 2024: Now running like a well-oiled machine, with top-notch professional service and an enclosed patio. Presentation was lovely, food very good (though the bread was disappointing compared to previous). However, the Open Table fee of $25 PER PERSON if you don't cancel TWO DAYS in advance is heavy-handed and excessive. Also, please switch to a different font for the menus, as it's way too difficult to discern between a 3 and a 5.-----Newly opened, a wonderful successor to Gusto di Quattro (also run by the Corsi family). Beautiful and stylish space, lovely staff (some from Casa Corsi). Looking forward to seeing their menus online, not sure whether they currently offer Happy Hour but it was on the reverse of one of our Drinks menus!Bread ($8) was yummy. Really enjoyed the Italian75 ($17) as an interesting twist on the usual cocktail. Filet and the gnocchi with chicken were perfection. Sea bass was beautifully cooked but the 'salsa verde' was a miss for me. Tiramisu cannoli was a fun twist on the usual, best shared. Nice surprise of live guitar music. Wonderful evening all 'round, looks to be quite popular - make a reservation and enjoy!

The attention to detail definitely did not go unnoticed. The fit and finish of the buildout and the overall attention to detail, right down to the selection and investment in dinnerware and stemware was the first thing we noticed. We realized if the rest of the evening lived up to the first impression we were in for a treat. And Sempre Uno did not disappoint. The wait staff was first class all the way. The menu and evening features were varied and enticing making us want to try everything. The quality of the food and how each course was plated proved that this place is definitely owned and operated by a passionate and experienced restauranteur. Without question we will be back.

This restaurant is my new go to! Exceptional Italian food, and the only place in town with MONFERRATO NEBBIOLO wine (MUST TRY), it paired well with everything we ordered! My favourite pasta was the casarecce, I haven’t had it this good anywhere. The service was on point and the atmosphere and decor make this place perfect if you want to impress your guests.

It was our first time to Sempre Uno, a new restaurant in our neighbourhood that we've been keen to try and we were not disappointed. The food was outstanding. The service was outstanding. The environment was so inviting. The menu has more of a traditional Italian focus but the specials from cocktails to appetizers to entrees are very creative and contemporary. Nothing but high praise for our experience and we will definitely be back again.

Hands down one of the best experiences my partner and I have had! Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. She was able to suggest some of her favourite menu items, which were all home runs. The cocktails were delicious and fun. Atmosphere was cozy and romantic. Overall Sempre uno was a huge hit for us. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you

Love the food and people there. They are always very friendly and give good suggestions. I find the food to be really tasty though sometimes I thought portion might be a bit small based on what you are getting. Definitely a bit on the pricer side but the food is done proper with good flavor and presentation. Also, I feel recently they are coming up with fantastic feature of the day menu so it became hard to just order from the menu. So far, not disappointed.Definitely recommend their dessert. Can’t really go wrong with the phyllo, gongozola cheesecake and tiramisu cannoli.Main wise, haven’t really found something I don’t like from the meat and seafood section but personal favourite is the duck breast, lamb chop and sea bass. The gnocchi is probably one of the best I tried so far. Like the texture and flavour. Seafood pasta is also great. Looking forward to try other things.

Lovely venue. The food overall was average. So many outstanding restaurants in the area. I would look elsewhere.

Perhaps we ordered to wrong dishes. The caesar salad as an appetizer was a very large portion at a hefty $21.00. It could easily be reduced by 1/3 of the size and 1/3 of the price. The carpaccio appetizer was so thin it became a smear on the plate. However both the pesto pasta and the ragu as main courses were delicious. Service was very good, though the ambience was somewhat noisy.
