We booked SERVED Catering for our local business Christmas party, and they completely blew us away! The food was absolutely incredible and beautifully presented. The buffet never ran out, even with a hungry crowd, and every dish looked as amazing as it tasted.
The attention to detail was next level… festive touches, elegant presentation, and perfectly timed service made the whole night feel effortless and joyful. The staff were friendly, professional, and fun, keeping everything running smoothly while still adding energy and cheer to the party.

We are extremely disappointed with this catering company. They failed to provide the amount of food that was promised for my dear sister’s wedding, leaving most guests without enough to eat on what should have been one of the happiest days of her life. This is not a small mistake, it affected a large number of guests and created unnecessary stress for the bride and the family.
What makes this even worse is the lack of accountability. Since the wedding, my sister has been in contact with them to address the issue but they didn't offer a fair resolution and closed the matter. Especially when it involves a ONCE IN A LIFE TIME event.
I would strongly recommend finding another catering company. You don’t want to risk being let down on a day that means so much.

We have known Trevor and Michelle for over 10 years, and hiring Served Catering for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made.
Our wedding took place in Pender Harbour and spanned three days with approximately 300 guests in total. The first evening was a plated dinner for about 30 people at my fiancée’s parents’ home. The food was outstanding and the staff were flawless.
The wedding day itself was a large canapé and food station event for 300 guests, and the logistics were challenging to say the least. The Served team brought everything up from Vancouver, including all food and equipment. A refrigerated trailer had to be floated across the harbour to another dock, and the team built a full kitchen down by the water. Despite the complexity, the execution was completely seamless.
The following day was a relaxed Sunday fun day for our guests. Served created these incredible Caesars topped with sliders, pepperoni, prawns, and all the garnishes. It was a huge hit and guests commented all day on how unique and memorable it was.
After our wedding, both neighbours on either side of us hired Served Catering multiple times for their own summer parties. They have truly become the go-to caterers in Pender Harbour. We also continue to use them in Vancouver for yachting and private events.
Their team is extremely skilled, polished, and talented, and they consistently deliver at a very high level. I couldn’t recommend Served Catering more highly.

Bryan and Jenn’s wedding was perfect until the dinner. They also were required to pay a significant “management fee”to SERVED Catering.
Were the Owners there to see what occurred and how the evening was tainted? There are 100+ guests/witnesses that can attest to the food shortage and mismanaged wedding dinner (or lack of). I honestly would rate the food quality/presentation a 4 … as I was one of the lucky ones to enjoy it.
The Mother of the Groom did not receive a response to her detailed written letter advising of your staff’s response to the situation that unfolded.
An unforgettable wedding in so many ways. I hope SERVED Catering “do the right thing.”

- I attended Bryan & Jen's wedding on Aug 7, 2025. I have to say the appetizers were really good. - When they announced dinner was ready, I skipped the line to ensure my 2 grand-daughters ate 1st. Thank goodness I did that as they would have miserable for the rest of the evening because they have not get to eat because where we were seated (one of the last couple of tables). Don't know if you have kids or not to relate to what I am saying. - I have gone to enough weddings & other buffet locations & I can say, this is the 1st time we did not get any of the main course. We were only going for the 1st round of food and they mentioned that there wasn't any more of the main course. I can understand if it was the 2nd or 3 round, but not the 1st round. - Let's turn the table around, if I or YOU or your co-workers were paying for a buffet dinner at another venue, would you be ok with this issue? Would you telling your friends what happened?

Serving as both MC and uncle at my nephew’s wedding was a true honor. I have had the privilege of acting as MC at five previous weddings, each of which offered a unique and memorable celebration.
As the evening progressed through speeches and dinner service, I was informed that no protein remained for the final tables, leaving only potatoes and salad available to those guests. This was unexpected and disappointing. In my experience at weddings, it is common to announce the availability of additional food for guests; however, on this occasion, I could only announce the availability of dessert—one gourmet donut per guest.
During the planning stages, my nephew advised that the food would be prepared off-site. Given my past experience where food is typically prepared on-site, I specifically asked how shortages would be handled. I was assured that this would not be an issue and that the venue’s kitchen, located five minutes away, could provide additional food if needed and extra food would be preordered. Unfortunately, this did not occur.
After reviewing existing feedback and responses, the outcome remains that guests seated at the final tables were served only potatoes and salad. This placed me, as the MC, in an uncomfortable and embarrassing position when asked by guests whether more food was available.
Despite this issue, the remainder of the evening was enjoyable, featuring a photo booth, plentiful drinks, and dancing that continued late into the night.
That said, based on my experience in the dual role of MC and uncle of the groom, I would not recommend Served Catering.

We had this company cater for our friends wedding and their portions were completely off. The second half of all the guests were unable to get any proteins and left with just salad. Pretty unfortunate seeing as this is a pinnacle moment in their life, and it doesn't take much effort to ensure you've stocked up on enough meals to satisfy the customer list. Wouldn't recommend.

Communication and overall management was not handled professionally and when the issues arose (not enough food for the guests), they were unwilling to take accountability or offer fair compensation for what was an embarrassing experience at an important event for my friend. Brides deserve better support and reliability on their wedding day.
