More than Impressed, the beer quality was so good and there was even a dark beer that was superb. Staff and everything about the place was so welcoming. You need to try it.
Amazing beers, only blemish was the guy insisted that I needed a signature on two of my ids when they barely glanced at them at Pandemonium two doors away, so nothing crazy but good to be mindful about it.
Always a wonderful time coming in here! Katie is a delightful bartender (along with the rest of the crew of course)

5* for standing up to Karen’s on the dog policy. Never seen one issue with dogs and food is oh highest hygenie rating

My favourite north van brewery! The tap room is great, open layout with lots of seating, attached outdoor patio for the summer, and corner that opens up for a breeze inside. Beers are tasty and the rotators are always interesting to try out. Love the staff and the customer base is always a blast to chat with, a sign of a great spot to spend some time. love the plant filled decor inside. i’ll be coming back here for years to come.

1 improvement to the management. - on the washroom doors , change the handle to an indicator if it's occupied or vacant. I couldn't imagine being a woman on the toilet with the door rattling as people try to use the can. Just have an indicator. I feel terrible when I try the door (and it's locked) and a gal comes out after.

Shaketown Brewing is a super fun spot with a great vibe and something for everyone. The place itself has a funky, laid-back atmosphere that works equally well for a chill afternoon hang or a lively night out. Service is friendly and easygoing, and there’s even a view of Vancouver to top it all off. Great for groups, parties, or just grabbing a pint on your own. Definitely worth checking out!
