The food here is incredible! I’ve tried lots of sushi in different places and the rolls here are so good! Our favourites are the spicy tuna roll, cheetah roll, volcano roll, negitoro, Jacob’s roll! Everything is fresh, the staff are super friendly, and takeout is so quick’!
Fantastic sushi spot! We loved the takoyaki, spicy salmon sushi, the unique blue fin & foie gras, plus fresh California, sashimi, and nigiri combos. Generous portions, top-quality fish, great prices, and super friendly service!
Great food, but odd tipping experience
The food at Sushi Umi in North Vancouver was absolutely delicious! Fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared — I truly enjoyed every bite. It’s definitely a place I’d recommend for sushi lovers.
However, there was a strange experience with the tipping process. Both my friend and I noticed that each time we went to pay, the server had already added the tip herself and informed us that the tip was included....
