Best sushi ever. The staff was so friendly and the food was amazing. Very quick service, never going to another sushi place.
Food was amazing and fresh. Staff was very nice and food came quick, which was awesome. Definitely recommend!
Was there on Mother's Day and my Brother ordered the Seafood Udon. Three hours later he was sicker than sick at both ends. There was shellfish in the bowl, not sure if it was mussel or oyster. Not sure if other people have had issues or not.
I mean... there are so many sush restaurants in north shore. There are 3 diff sushi places within 5 min from here in lynn valley area. This one is the worst one amonst all of them.
Their chicken and beef udon is really good. Love their prawn tempura and chicken karaage. Everytime I come here the service is quick and friendly. Their food tastes so fresh!!!
I was so happy to meet the restaurant's workers with my family :) They are so kind and given delicious foods for us every time! Thank you so much🩷
Sushi I’ve ever had in my life and everyone there was super kind.
I’m a huge fan of their creative and flavorful rolls! The House Roll, which features wild salmon, tuna, crab meat, tamago, avocado, cucumber, and is topped with tobiko, is my absolute favorite. I also noticed the Lion King Roll and Pink Tiger Roll on the menu, and I can’t wait to try them next time:)
Unfortunately, I found that negitoro roll didn’t have much flavor. It seems like the quality of negitoro itself might not be up to par, or perhaps it wasn’t prepared as well as expected. I hope this is something they can improve in the future!
Seaweed salad was awful. Asked to be removed from the bill. No was the answer after asking twice. Negative owner. 15 yr old male serving.
Both the quality and quantity have declined over the last 18 years we've lived in Lynn Valley. But wait a minute—what hasn't gone downhill in Vancouver since then? That said, I'm giving it 4.5 stars because it’s still one of the best in North Vancouver, and I’m hopeful they’ll return to the high standards they were known for a few years ago!

I usually visit this restaurant before or after work, near my workplace. The food is always fresh, and the service is fast. I enjoy it.

Great sushi spot!
Sushi5 was a great spot to grab a quick lunch. The staff was clean, fast, and respectful, making the atmosphere enjoyable. The lunch box was a fair price and packed with delicious sushi. I'll definitely be back!

This place used to be my top choice in the neighborhood for good sushi, and I’ve been going there for several years. However, it seems they’ve changed management or something, because the food has gotten really bad recently. The new staff are also very rude. I ordered miso soup, and when it arrived, the server’s finger was inside the bowl. When I asked them to change it, they responded with a lot of attitude. The special rolls used to be delicious, but I think they’ve lowered the quality of ingredients to keep prices down. I don’t want to eat bad food, even if it’s cheaper.

Went here for lunch with a friend. Sushi was ok nothing that made me go wow. I asked for a box to take home my leftovers. When my bill arrived I saw that I was charged for the to go container. I questioned the server about this charge. The manager lady came over and was so rude to me and said that is the charge and told me Romer’s charges too! I’m not in Romer’s! I said that it is ridiculous to charge for a take out box. How else am I to take it home. Because she was so rude, I won’t be coming back again. Bye bye Sushi 5!

This place is tucked away inside the mall, but has the skylights next to it so it's not dark. Wonderful! Small business, w 100% quality 100% of the time. Reliably excellent food - avocado and seared tuna salad is a favorite
