This is a gem of a resto located off the path in a heavily commercial area of North Vancouver. Don't let the location put you off. EVO cars may be dropped off nearby and the Phibbs Exchange bus loop is only a few minutes walk away. The food is classic French with what seems just the right amount for appetisers and mains. The wine list is short but well-chosen and reasonably priced. It is a small resto so reservations are recommended. Our only quibble is the use of paper napkins....

Food overall was pretty good, a little expensive, but overall not bad. Escargot was really good, not overcooked and chewy, only complaint is that it's a bit too salty. Braised beef was also good, if a little dry, but the flavours of the overall dish was good. Location is a little out of the way if you don't live in the area. Overall I'm glad I went, but for the price and everything else it's definitely a one-and-done experience. 3.5/5 STARS
