We tried a soy latte and a cheddar rosemary scone. The latte had a strange aftertaste (maybe due to the roast), which we weren’t used to — it just tasted unusual to us. The cheddar rosemary scone was also unexpectedly sweet, even though we assumed it would be savory. Overall, the experience was a bit disappointing. However, the atmosphere was nice and the café was quiet, which we appreciated.
We love this cozy neighborhood spot - the coffee is always great, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect. However, we were surprised to see a $3.75 charge for a soy babyccino, while the regular dairy version is $3. A 25% up-charge for a simple swap feels steep, especially for those with dairy allergies. We’d love to see more reasonable pricing for plant-based options! Thanks for considering!

I really love this place, it reminds me of hanging out in a coffee shop in Portland, Oregon. Which is a good thing. They have a lovely selection of mainly local gift items, lots of cards and cool artwork. The service is mellow and friendly and they have a nice array of panini sandwiches and desserts, some of which (the desserts) are vegan/gluten free. Tables are set up outside so if the weather is nice you can enjoy your drink in the fresh air.
