Amazing food. I ate everything literally. No kidding

We ordered kebab, ghorme sabzi and rice. The quality of foods was very poor so that we could not eat them.

Make sure you pay attention to your orders and that everything is received. They have forgotten items in our dine-in orders a couple of times. When we tell them right away, we get a lecture and threatened to be charged for items we have already paid for. :/We were always polite and non-confrontational.

Fresh bread is really nice, food is tolerable, but don't ever order yogurt there.

Bad service! We came on a very hot day and they were very busy. We started ordering and we were rudely interrupted by another customer. The lady taking our order continued on with the other person instead of finishing up with ours. She comes back to us and completely forgets everything. We ordered dine in and gave us take out. I asked for the daily special and she charged us full price. The Lamb was good but the rice was partially crunchy. I will never go back here or recommend this place

This is my favorite Persian go to restaurant. This location is the pickup location for online orders and the original location. I really like their Iranian stews with very high quality and well cooked long grain rice. It's even better if they have charred crispy rice from the bottom of the pan "tadigh". But our absolute favorite chicken kubideh is unique to them. This location is spartan and has few of the niceties the other location has. If you want a better sit down dining experience go to the other location further North.

Great people/owners and awesome food! Special thanks to Sadaf who was so very kind and helpful in resolving a discrepancy with one of our orders. Try the beef Kubideh Kebab and egg plant dip, delicious! We order here twice a week. Highly recommend!

Delicious, generous portions and very reasonably priced. We ordered an extra kebab rice so we can have leftovers the next day. I think we could even have leftovers for two days

Called Yaas and they advised if ordered on their website for pick up there's (currently) 10% off. You can choose the time the food is ready. *This review is for the 1629 Lonsdale Ave location, as they have a second place up the street. We ordered the Boneless Chicken Kebab Dish, the Boneless Chicken Soltani (with Beef Kubideh) Kebab Dish, and the Eggplant Dip with Persian Sauce. When I arrived at Yaas the food was ready right on time and the staff were very nice. Back to the car (although they had dine-in, we weren't yet comfortable with that) and the food looked fantastic with a generous amount of tahdig that I was happy to see. The Eggplant Dip had fried onions and (I think) dried mint which all together smelled incredible. I ate almost half of the order. The Kebabs were equally delicious. Tender meat, well seasoned, and juicy. I also found at the bottom of the bag some limes and raw onions and a bag of pita which we weren't expecting but was a nice surprise. Beef Kubideh with a sliver of onion in pita-so tasty. The value for the quantity/quality/taste is hard to beat. Yaas has been consistent since we first tried it years ago so we will continue to come here when in North Van.Another visit, ordered online, and food was ready right on time. I usually order the kebab so wanted to try something different. Got the Mixed Herb Stew Dish ($7.99) with a side of plain rice ($2.00). Along with the other dishes, we got the pita/lime/onions and the tahdig. I think the added some barberries to the tahdig which I had never had before. It was slightly sweet which was nice along with the savoury foods. The stew was hearty and perfect for a cool gray day. There were plenty of dried lemons which was a nice sour earthy balance to the richness and there was a good amount of beef chunks. I would order this again easily. The side of rice was enough for 3 of us! $10?! Incredible when compared to what $10 gets you at other places. Yaas delivers on flavour, portion, and value again.Daniel

Persian kebab fix at an affordable price. Their kebabs are tender juicy, and the portions are great for a big lunch. The inclusion of tahdig was a welcomed surprise

The woman behind the counter was extremely rude. She needs to work on her manners. This is not the only restaurant to order from. Burned lamb chops.

I love the kubideh and lamb saffron kebabs here. The portion size is huge and very delicious.
