Tasting with Valerie was an education in Okanagan wine history. And her wines are excellent, in particular the Ehrenfelzer-Reisling blend was a standout.
Uniquely brilliant experience. The hosts are down to earth and genuinely passionate about what they do. They are brimming with expert knowledge. The wine is superb - the Lemberger and Gewürztraminer were like nothing I've had before. And all in a beautiful setting! Thank you
We did a very enjoyable impromptu wine tasting. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable and really made time for us. We tasted some great wines and learnt a lot.
Fantastic experience. Knowledgeable, friendly and very insightful with their vineyard management and how they produce their delicious wine. This is the real deal, a true gem of the Okanagan wine trail!
I love being delightfully surprised, and that is what happened on my recent visit to BC Wine Studio. Greeted by Kaitlyn, who is probably one of the most knowledgeable (and kind and funny and awesome) hostesses with the mostesses, she brought my guests into the vineyard to chat about the life of a grapevine and what was currently happening, and what grape farmers' next steps were, to make sure the vines stay happy. My guests, who are yearly visitors were blown away by this experience as they have never had to the opportunity to learn so in depth of what happens in the vineyard.Then... the tasting... what a delight! Beautiful wines with something for everyone... my guests bought a case!Kaitlyn, Val.... thank you so much for opening up the tasting room this season... I know you are going to have many very happy guests.
This winery is worth checking out. We got a tour of the grapes, lots of information shared. Kaitlyn did a fabulous job. Will definitely take friend back there
This a little charming and familial business. I really like to encourage that kind of people who work with passion and perseverance. Beautiful piece of land with the view on Vaseux lake surrounded by friendly hosts. It is fun to do a tour of their field accompagnied by their dogs and also having a great conversation about their wine and tasting it directly from their working place who makes it even more reel. I highly recommend to go visit them.
I especially love the Lamberger Merlot!! It’s perfectly balanced and really delicious. I highly recommend this wine and it’s very reasonably priced. The owners are great and the service very personable. BC Wine Studio is a really unique boutique winery with lots of great options. Thank you Val and Steve!Taryn :)

I was absolutely pleased with the service I received and as a first time buyer I was nervous about what to choose and how fast my order would get to its destination. To my delight the owner personally delivered my order to make someone’s birthday a very special day! The follow-up was great and I would recommend everyone to support this wonderful business. What a treat to have this kind of service!!
Grateful witnessing of boutique brave and sumptuous wines made with care, wit and sweat by winemaker Mark Simpson on Steven Carter’s Hawks Vineyard, with skilled assistance from apprenticing Goddesses, Valerie (also a vintner and grower) and Julie (WSET-3.) The team of 4 labored handily to get 8 crates of Syrah grapes crushed before afternoon, only following test crushing by hand and examination thoroughly and repeatedly. We were educated by their enthusiasm and passion and hard, intelligent efforts. We were welcomed even in the middle of a busy hard working day. High praise.
