Really nice place and cashier was so polite. I just ordered paneer pakora and it was so delicious and paneer tastes so fresh. Definitely recommended.
Absolutely the worst overpriced food I've ever had. Small portions and food tasted terrible. Server didn't even ask how our food was seeing we didn't even touch it.

Going to Ambrosia is a must do when we are in Osoyoos. The staff are wonderful. The price of the food is great. Breakfast or dinner, never disappointed.

i don’t leave reviews ever (and i don’t like to take pictures of my meals lol) but i wanted to write one for Ambrosia — went here just last night with my family, on the way back home after a road trip. i’m from Toronto while my folks are from Victoria, so a few different POVs, but we all loved it!!
we got the tikka masala, butter chicken, paneer (forget which one specifically, apologies!!) and they all tasted SPECTACULAR!!! i think it was the best butter chicken i’ve ever had (i kept stealing off my mother’s plate, lol)
the chai latte was absolutely delicious too. our server was kind enough to tell me how to make it (which i will not spoil!!!!), but i don’t think i’ll ever taste something as good as that drink again…….not unless i come back here lol!!!
i regret i didn’t get our server’s name — she was so so kind and funny!! we kept chatting throughout the meal, and it was so much fun. i hope she is appreciated because she deserves it!!! i would fly from ontario just to come back here. Ambrosia crew!! hope you thrive!!!

Let me start off by saying that our server was extremely kind and welcoming, and the chai lattes were good. But that is where the positives end.
We ordered mozzarella cheese sticks and poutines. The mozzarella cheese sticks looked and tasted like the frozen kind from Costco. An order only contained 6 of them. They were small, and not hot enough to get a good cheese pull. They were served with sour cream and salsa that tasted exactly like the Tostitos mild kind from the jar. This is a meal you could make yourself at home for less than $2 however they charge $13.95.
Now on to the poutine. The poutine is NOT poutine. We specifically chose this restaurant because of a picture of the poutine from a different review, however that picture was apparently of butter chicken poutine which is no longer available. (At least this is what we were told).
Order poutine with caution. This restaurant does not use cheese curds for their poutine. They use shredded mozzarella cheese. The fries were not crispy—they were limp and soft. The gravy was fine. It would have been nice to have been told that the poutine they offered was not true poutine made with cheese curds prior to ordering, as we had talked about places that have good poutine, and making good poutine at home with our server while waiting for our meals. Unfortunately, she did not let us know and we ended up paying $14.95 each for two virtually untouched “poutines” before leaving.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. The service was good enough but the food left much to be desired and we waited over 30 minutes in a virtually empty restaurant for incredibly disappointing, extremely overpriced dishes.

My favourite restaurant in Osoyoos. Love the butter chicken, I’ve had more than once. The chicken fettuccine is also very good. Thanks Ambrosia!

We did take out so I cannot speak for the atmosphere but only the food.
Overall we all really enjoyed the meal. The chicken fettuccine was really good, something we would order again, same with the taco salad and butter chicken. The portions were huge and fed our family with tons of leftovers. The have the best chai lattes, we could get those daily they were so so good.
Where it missed the mark for us was the appetizers and my daughters kids pasta. We ordered the perogies, fish pakora and kids marinara pasta. The perogies were honestly just frozen perogies with some toppings and were really underwhelming. The fish pakora was very good, BUT the portion… was microscopic for the price. My daughter didn’t enjoy her pasta at all and it was thrown out which was a waste but the portion for it was huge.
Overall we are glad we went and tried it and would 100% go back and just order our crowd pleasers.
Best butter chicken ever !!!
