The owner is extremely rude. The service is terrible. We paid for a drink and when we asked the owner for it he claimed we didn’t pay for it when WE DID. We had proof of our transaction, however when asked him to pull up the receipt he decline. We also generously tipped with each purchase. If I could give it negative stars, I would. It is evident that this regular occurrence based on other reviews, and the owners inability to receive criticism.

We had a very upsetting experience at Gyro Café in Osoyoos. A staff member was extremely rude and confrontational for no clear reason, and at one point came alarmingly close to physically pushing my wife. We felt uncomfortable.
This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable in any customer-facing environment. We were shocked by how we were treated and would not recommend this place to others based on our experience.
Response to your message below: We stand by our original review and want to clarify a few things. We understand it was a busy long weekend and didn’t expect perfection, but respectful treatment is a basic expectation no matter the circumstance.
The owner’s claim that we were refused service due to behavior is simply not true — and the fact that he followed us to the parking lot and began shouting and swearing in front of children was deeply inappropriate and unprovoked. He had the audacity to say I followed you becoz you gave us a bad review. It was upsetting enough that we seriously considered reporting the incident to the police
We’re not the only ones who have raised concerns about the owner’s conduct — a quick look at other reviews shows a troubling pattern. Calling customers “liars” rather than taking responsibility only proves the point further

Ordered iced coffee and mocha. Both weren't good. Have had much better coffee elsewhere. All we could taste was milk and sugar. The service was very slow like just 1 person working there. And owner was rude.

ICK?. I ordered a full meal just brought some fresh veggies to go with the meal as I am diabetic and cannot eat fries and chips. Perhaps you should offer such alternatives. Shame on you! Also, the sandwich was not good

Really great service at a very cute beach cafe with shade and a little surprising ambiance w fun music for a canteen! Had some good simple beach day food. Kids were happy, so was I. Don’t bother leaving the beach for a coffee or a snack. It’s worth it to just stay put and have something good to eat and drink.
