La Stella Winery is a charming destination with a warm welcome, famous for its fantastic wine and beautiful views. The staff are accommodating and attentive, providing an unhurried wine tasting experience that allows guests to fully appreciate the delicious wines. With a focus on Italian and Canadian blends, the winery offers a unique tasting experience. Visitors can enjoy bold reds and well-rounded rosés, while the view from the patio enhances the relaxing atmosphere. The winery’s knowledgeable staff share interesting stories about Italian grape varietals and their wines, such as the Fortissimo with 8% Sangiovese and the Espressivo, which features a fantastic blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sangiovese. Although white wines are currently unavailable due to winter conditions, the tasting fee of $10 is donated to local charities and is well worth the experience. The winery's dock access also allows guests to visit by boat, enhancing the overall experience. Recently, the winery has hosted Christmas Advent events, raising money for local charities and adding to the festive atmosphere.
