Had the fish and chips. Had the thickest batter on a fish I have ever had. Had to take off the batter and fish inside did not taste great at all.

We stayed at the Walnut Beach Resort, which included a private beach and food from Pointe 49. While on the beach, we ordered the Calamari, the Chicken Fingers and Fries, and the Parmesan Fries.

Everything was made fresh, delicious, and crispy. The Calamari was a standout as they managed to make it crispy and still tender inside. The accompanied sauce was perfect.

The Chicken Fingers were a big hit with the kids. I got a bite and found them crispy, yet juicy inside. They did a good job cooking these.

The fries were yummy, albeit a bit more greasy, but that's expected from fried food.

The gentleman serving us repeatedly popped by to ensure everything was good. He did an excellent job serving us.

I highly recommend getting food from Pointe 49 while enjoying the beach at Walnut Beach Resort.

Ordered the calamari and a couple of negronis. Both were great! The calamari was cooked to perfection and I find that often rare. Hidden gem

Honestly, given overall reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. However, the service was AWESOME and the food was great! I had the burger, which was super tasty and my wife ordered the salad with the grilled chicken and was impressed with how good it tasted. Definitely a great experience!

Pretty terrible. Basic order of Masala Tacos and BLT Burger. Taco had some masala seasoning but was otherwise over sauced and canned jalapeños that overpowered it all and the tortilla fell apart.
The burger was terrible, couldn’t finish it. A McHappy Meal size fries is bigger than the fries I got with the burger.

Very disappointing for such a nice resort. Poor value. Many better options in Osoyoos.

Don’t eat here!!

My fiancé and I stayed at the resort for 3 days so we went to the restaurant quite a bit. On the days where Dominique was our server it was 10/10. She made it a very memorable experience for us and was very attentive to our needs. On the days Dominique wasn't working, the service wasn't that great even though it wasn't busy. Great ambiance though as the restaurant patio is right by the pool.

We tried their chicken burger, which was very bland. Fries were unseasoned. It's probably the most bland food I have ever had. We were told they have a new chef and are trying to revamp the menu.
But notably the service was great.

Nice patio location on the pool with a view of the lake. The service on the other hand, really needs work. She was annoyed by me asking a couple questions about the beer. I just left and went back to my room and ordered a pizza.

This was a very disappointing experience for the price. The menu is pretty small, but at least 6 items were not available, which left some of our party of 4, having to settle for something they really didn't want. Also, they were missing items from the drink menu. The servers were very apologetic.

The food was quite good. Not very many or varied options. The room is cold, literally and figuratively. The air conditioning was much too cold and we were told by our server that it couldn't be changed. There was no atmosphere in the room and the service didn't help. We.expected views of the lake but the dining room has views of the pool instead of the lake. Although we were 1 of 3 tables the service was lacking. No banter, no conversation. The bartender is who pointed out the directions to the bathrooms as.the 2 servers were busy chatting. We will not be back.

A little known hide away restaurant with spectacular views of the lake. My favourite place to sip a cocktail or a local glass of wine with some delicious tapas. Chef Darien and team goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcomed! The mains are great too and a perfect addition now to Osoyoos’s world class food & beverage experiences.
