I celebrated my Birthday at this beautiful Restaurant and it was perfect. The Salmon was delicious and the meal presentation made our eyes light up ✨️ Bart our server was happy, friendly and proudly serving us this nicely prepared food. He made our stay one to remember - thank you 😊

Don't say anything unless it nice. The water was nice. The food was awful and the price ridiculous for what you got. You got me once but never again. Not a pleasant experience.

A wonderful night out! Both the duck and the beef tenderloin were delicious, but the biggest highlight of the night was the service we received from our server Oskar. He was personal, knowledgeable about the menu and concept, attentive and made a wonderful pairing recommendation for our dessert!

This is an incredible restaurant with epic lake views, excellent service, and phenomenal food. We had the Bhudda Bowl and the Bison Taco. You definitely need to check this place out!

This place never disappoints. Every time I pass through Osoyoos, I make it a point to stop for lunch, and the consistent quality and service always impresses me. It’s one of the very few places where you’re greeted with both professionalism and genuine respect. The food is consistently excellent, and the service is flawless. With stunning views and an inviting atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal. Don’t forget to visit the nk'mip cellars winery for an outstanding selection of wines.
It will always be my favourite place.

I'm gonna break this review up into a few parts, so read whatever you think is the most interesting to you, i'll do a tldr at the bottom.
food quality/menu
Food was good! Well cooked, we ordered the "Three Sisters" salad, as well as the "Fry Bread" to start, with the Elk as a main course, this was shared between my partner and I. Food was delicious, three sisters i found a little uninteresting, comprised of mostly salad and corn which was i'm sure historically accurate to what indigeonous peoples may have eaten which is awesome to see, but i would have loved to see the kitchen push the concept a bit further than the bare minimum. Fry bread i thought was delicious, really interesting texture, and the jam was so lovely. Sweet, sour, really felt like local BC food, which there isn't a lot of. Absolutely excellent.
The elk was astonishing, so beautifully cooked, i didn't even need to use a knife to cut the meat, it just fell apart on my fork. So juicy, tender, and imaculately seasoned. The meat came with the bone (and bone marrow) in, and the bone marrow was very easy to extract from the bone. There was also some sort of cheesy mashed potato that finished the plate beautifully.
The plates the food was served on were all stunning which is great to see, it felt like an real emphasis was placed on making decent food, and presenting it beautifully.
Bar:
We did not order cocktails, but we saw a number of them being served to guests around us. The liquid itself was beautiful, excellent colours and garnishes, but the glasseware looked like it came from the dollar store. Massively thick glass in a number of cocktail glasses, including a martini glasses with a stem you need your whole fist to grasp. In contrast to the beautiful plates, it was really unfortunate to see that the glassware had not been given the same considerations. Though, we did not order cocktails so there may have been a few with excellent glassware, i don't know.
FOH staff/Service quality
Service was bare minimum. The waitress was lovely, fine enough person, but nothing about our service blew us away. Flatware was missed, (no serving tongs despite share plates) and explanation of dishes was mediocre, though we did not push for detailed explanations. She explained the daily feature (a local wine which we both ordered and thoroughly enjoyed throughout the meal)
We had a reservation, but when we got there it seemed as if there was no table reserved for us, and rather they treated us like a walk in. They gave us the option of sitting at the bar and waiting for a table inside, or sitting outside. We asked if we could sit outside and wait for a table inside (which was not one of the options we were given) and we were sat outside.
Upon a table being cleared inside, we asked if we could move to it, but we were told it was already reserved which was kind of a weird response, because in my reservation i had asked fo a table by the window, but nothing was reserved? So kind of a weird inconsistancy there. We were eventually moved to the table when we spoke to a supervisor, who was lovely and accomidating.
Tldr: food was pretty good, interesting menu, and most of what we ordered was delicious. Wine selection was extensive, mostly local wines which is awesome. The cocktails themselves looked delicious, and well garnished, but the glassware was god awful, and looked cheap even from a distance. Service was mediocre, but moderately accomidating, damage for 2 people was about 200 including tip, which is high for the area but fair enough when you account for the view, the interesting menu, and of course the fact that it is in an expensive hotel.
I've given it the rating i have because overall i was not impressed. Nothing about the resteraunt really stuck out to me as exceptional.

We wanted to like it, but excessively slow service, a big kitchen stumble, and a pitch dark patio made for a challenging evening. Especially after one person in our group made sure to tell the wait staff the issue at the time of ordering.

Good food, beautiful view and great service! We had a lovely lunch on the patio on a sunny and warm fall afternoon. Would have been perfect had the vine trimming machine not been operating near us for much of the time, making the noise level frequently rather high. Otherwise, this is a great restaurant and we will go back.
We had a great brunch today. It was warm enough to eat on the patio and enjoy the view. The menu has been updated since we were last here, and we thought it was much improved. There are a variety of gluten-free options for my wife who is celiac. The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. We will be back soon.

Unique and delicious menu, attentive service, and lovely view. Fry bread, vegetable soup and lingcod were all highlights. The veggie soup was very flavorful, as much as a meat broth would be. The fry bread dough was flavored with herbs so not just fried bread. All the dishes were beautifully plated, picture worthy.
Our server was frazzled, rushed and made us feel rather neglected from the start. We asked twice for a drink menu before receiving it 45 minutes after we were seated. It did not create a good ambiance to see our server running through the restaurant, however other servers we observed were very calm. When food was delivered it was not explained to us or confirmed for allergy modifications. We had enjoyed breakfast previously with excellent service and it was unfortunate that the dinner service was such a let down in comparison. We appreciated the customized dessert from the kitchen to accommodate allergies - thank you for that. Very disappointed in the dinner we experienced and a very unfortunate way to spend our last night in the area, as we had saved this restaurant for last in hopes it would end our trip on a great note.
Our server, Christina, was lovely and attentive. The soup of the day and bread were delicious as were the cocktails and wine. We were not impressed with our mains and the sides that accompanied - lacking in flavour and questionable pairing of sides to main. We still had a lovely evening. If we return we would go for soup. Salad, and bread and avoid the main dishes.
had a nice brunch on the patio overlooking the lake. The service was great, and the food was excellent. Will try more food next time visiting

This restaurant was the highlight of our trip to Osoyoos.
We didn't stay at the adjacent resort but we had dinner here.
We sat on the terrace and the sunset was spectacular.
The food combined local ingredients and indigenous flavours. Some of the dishes are very unique.
Service was excellent.
