My first job was at an A&w many years ago. Still my favorite fast food hamburger place. Drive-thru is usually slower than most, but when you get your food it's hot and freshly cooked. And an A&w Burger just beats any Burger out there!!
Yesterday, sat July 12 2025 I drove to parksville BC A&W. I had a mozzarella burger. It was so good! Fiy first Job in the 6'0s was at A&w was in Richmond...for many years as an adult I would get a burger with lettuce , brown or slimy...letter or tomato with heel. Yesterday was the best burger I have had in years!!? Whoever made that burger in parksville TOOK PRIDE. I had one boss who taught us, if you wouldn't feed your family, don't serve it to public!!...
Within the last year I've started coming back here and I have to say the service has gotten a lot better. The food is prepared with good presentation and care and it's pretty quick when you go through drive-thru. I'm impressed
