Truly incredible, one of the best dishes I've had in months! Ordered the Chicken Neptune, you can immediately tell everything is cooked on order, very fresh and hot throughout the meal (especially the chicken!) everything was juicy, perfectly flavourful and complimenting to the entire dish. Came here for Valentine’s Day dinner with my Fiance and it did not disappoint! We started with the crab cakes and meat balls which were both amazing. I had the salmon Wellington with rice and creamy dill sauce, my fiance had the lamb shank and both were so tasty! We finished with the lava cake and we both agreed it was the best lava cake we have ever had. Everything came out hot and in a timely manner, food was not over priced and the quality was great. The new owner came over to quality check and give us a bit of the background to the newly owned place with her, her husband and best friend which just made us love the place even more, everything is local, fresh and hand picked to perfection! We will for sure be coming back!!!

Amazing food! We all enjoyed the presentation and flavors! Husband loved the braised ribs; our daughter and I really liked the chicken Neptune. And that dessert!? WOW! Made in-house, the Sticky Date Cake was a perfect choice to end our dinner.Lovely owners and attentive service! For sure we'll be back to this hidden gem in Parksville...fantastic experience!

Tonight was our first time here. What a lovely place. The first thing we noticed was how clean it was and how spaced out the tables were which is a blessing these days. The service was great. The food was incredible - loved how they did their vegetables. We never get dessert but couldn’t resist the sticky toffee cake with ice cream and caramel sauce. It was worth the tight feeling around the waist when we finished. Will def be back.

My grandma and I came here for dinner over the weekend and i now understand why it's one of my grandma's favorites, if not her favorite, restaurant. It's got a beautifully warm and cozy feel paired with a wonderfully crafted menu. The service is friendly and quick, done with a smile. I highly recommend this beautiful little restaurant.
My wife and I had very good meals, both of us enjoying our meal. Some suggestions on the layout of the room. The dining room is OK, but we feel it requires some updating. Looking out the large windows onto the parking lot is not the best. Who wants to look out on cars as if in a strip mall. Perhaps sheers to make the room feel more intimate should be considered. All the tables (for four) are placed against the walls. A few interspaced round tables would make the room feel more homey.

Just had another delicious meal at Chameleons Restaurant last night. My Chicken Neptune was fabulous, and my wife enjoyed her Lamb Shank very much. Our server was friendly and efficient. The owner once again made us feel welcome. We don’t live in town, but we will definitely go back.
