45 minutes until closing, They said the washrooms were “closed”. Pretty sure it’s because they cleaned the entire place and mopped and doused everything with bleach, they were too lazy to clean the washrooms again to keep them open. Very poor ventilation with all that bleach, floors were soaked..I’m sure the employees don’t know any better as they all seem inexperienced. Chairs were all flipped up, no where to sit…which always seems to be the case with this location at least an hour to closing. I get excited to get out of work, but these people are a different level of excited. Good ice cream though, kinda hard to screw that up.

Male that took our order did not understand what it was that we wanted to order. We even repeated ourselves and he still got it wrong. Ordered onion rings and got fries. He wouldn’t admit he was wrong and manager said he couldn’t say that we were right or he was right or either of us was wrong andthe onion rings are $1.50 more. I told him I didn’t eat french fries so I wouldn’t have ordered them. We left to take it home to eat, and when we got home, five minutes away, it was cold, fries were old, and hamburger was crushed. Will never go back.

I took my daughter here, there was a couple waiting for their order but no staff to at the counter to take an order. We waiting 5 mins but went to McDs for ice cream instead. It was ridiculous, get someone at the counter.

We came here last night for dessert just before 9pm, and the guy who helped us out deserves a raise! He was very kind and had a great attitude for it being almost 9pm. He made our blizzards perfectly and even added an extra topping for me that I forgot to ask for. So appreciative! Big change from the service we typically get here from other staff. Him and Avi are the two best workers there for sure ?? thanks!

I had a double mushroom and cheese burger with a poutine the burger was swimming in mayo was an all mayo burger couldn’t taste anything else while it poured out all over the place the poutine was half filled half cooked very little cheese complete disappointment be careful when ordering this one as the meal was 18.00 closer to 19.00 and still hungry not good! The service was below average as the guy working was always away from the cash register in his phone in the corner or walking around in the back if I could give no stars it would fit the visit much more then they have this key for the washroom on a ice cream bucket lid that obviously goes into the washroom into stalls ? and the guys who handled that key also serve you the food no washing of the hands just straight handing over the key and back again to return this was the tipper of my visit to this location talk about make me sick ? thank you parksville for showing me how to not make food and over charge along with bad practise of this washroom key ! I would suggest implementing some new practise here and proper training for your employees ! My recommendation is to drive to a different place to eat and not signing up for this over priced horror show ! ??

Poutine terrible, taste like burnt/cigarettes. Attempted to address this staff and management who insisted I they just made it and a new batch of gravy would’ve taken an hour to prepare. At 11:15am. Nice.Heads up, don’t have high expectations.Edit: have contacted via link in response. Will see what happens.

Firstly, no A/C while waiting too long (wasn’t even busy that hot day). It was suggested I buy the most expensive chicken burger - just under 18 bucks. What came was a soggy, flat, with 4 shreds of lettuce that was no better than McDonalds fish-filet. The grilled chicken apparently was a processed chicken nugget. It didn’t sit well in the stomach but was supposed to as it was supposed to be grilled. Never again will I go to this place - In fact it will be McDonalds for now on
