Super disappointedThe chow mein looked, tasted, and felt like it was old of extremely undercooked. So disappointed, called to give then a chance to fix it.They told me it was the new cooks fault and told me to order another time to give them another chance.I do not like being taken advantage of and treated with no respect. It's sad to say ( do to the fact I got love for some of the staff there) that I will no longer be supporting this restaurant. Most definitely not recommending them to anyone.We should be caring about the people who support the business not treating people poorly

Today Dec.2/2022...I stopped at Your restaurant today at noon.I wasn't feeling very well and didn't what to pass by bug onto anyone inside,so I ordered take-out. I ordered the same thing I always order; Chef's Special Chop Suey & a large steamed rice $24.00's ( and a six buck tip).I used to tell EVERYONE about the good food at Your establishment.....not any more.The mess that was presented to Me was 75% uncooked RAW broccoli ( as if it was thrown in as an afterthought).Two small shrimp, two bits of chicken and two pieces of red painted pork roast,that I assume was passed off as bar-b-que-d pork belly.There were also a few raw mushrooms with the mess of corn segments and god only knows what else.I took the order to city park and after eating the chicken & shrimp threw the rest out the window of My vehicle and You know what ?....even the seagulls and crows wouldn't touch it. I've seen more appetizing food on the ground under the Tilt-a-Whirl. All I've got to say to sum this up is SHAME ON YOU !

Great all you can eat buffet in Parksville. Only $25 a person. Decent selection. Friendly staff. Atmosphere is basic but good.

Very quick service , buffet has many varieties of food compared to most Asian buffets. Good squid, many varieties of prawns and huge selection of dishes to choose from.

Had a delicious meal at Driftwood Parksville, but it was really the service that made the meal. Cindy was outstanding. She was so friendly and thoughtful, very attentive and went the extra mile. This was not the service we expected from a buffet style restaurant. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious but if anything we will be back to see Cindy.Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly.Parking: Lots of easy parking in their lot.Wheelchair accessibility: All one level, wide spaces between tables. Very accessible.

This was our first visit, we were driving by and stopped o a whim. We arrived 1/2 hour before the lunch buffet was over and the staff were fantastic, we were asked several times if we wanted them to top anything off that was a bit short. The food was great, everything was fresh and hot. Favourites were the shrimp dumplings, the chicken wings and the butter garlic prawns. The deserts were also good, the turtle brownies were fantastic. The hostess who I imagine was the owner was friendly and helpful to everyone. We will certainly be back

I dined with a friend, she had buffet I had a combo. My combo was a good size portion and was delicious. Friend said buffet was good.. she had 2 plates plus dessert...so I know it was good! We will be back!

First time coming here, since it changed owners.All I kept hearing were bad things, I'm so glad I came anyway! The food was delicious! Our waitress was amazing as always! The food was so flavourful, not greasy and tasteless like the reviews.I will be back, and will recommend to anyone who asks!!!

Excellent Chinese food very authentic, they didn't have buffet for lunch but you can order fried noodles and fried rice, and big portions too. We ordered bbq pork fried rice and chicken chow mein and enough for 2 senior, 2 adults and a 7yr old. Sorry too hungry didn't take any pictures.
Wasn't going to come because of reviews. Glad we did. Food was excellent, great selections of dishes to choose from.Very nice atmosphere.Waitress was very attentive and friendly.Would recommend 100%. ?We are repeat customers come everytime we visit Parksville

Had a great first dinner at Driftwood restaurant last night. It was very busy with most people having the buffet. We ordered 4 dishes off the menu. Very large portions so have enough leftovers for another meal. Service was great. Someone always checking in to make sure all was fine. Food came quickly, hot and delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant for food, service and cleanliness. We will definitely be back.

TANS KITCHEN was taken over by this company and Trust me there is NO WAY to compare the product that is served now. From very good to the very worst food, not only taste wise but my god the food they make is HORRIBLE!! PARKSVILLE we deserver better than this!! Hopefully they will go out of business and a REAL CHINESE FOOD business with come in.

I just received $40.00 dollars worth of chinese food, asked for extra soya sauce, they wanted 2.00 so I declined .I got 40'00 worth of chinese food and 1 soya sauce!! REALLY???? Never again!!

Don't try buffets in off hours, better to order from menu in that case. If you go at lunch or dinner time though, buffet is quite good. More seafood of course at the dinner one, but dim sum included at lunch for those who like it. Driftwood is better now that it has been open awhile.
