“We went to Ricky's after being evacuated from the Wesley ridge fire. We asked if they have discount to evacuees. We showed the server and manager a screenshot of the evacuation notice as well as our ID with our address and they still would not give a discount as we did not have a physical paper.“

“We come here a lot over the years from Nanaimo. This am just sitting around waiting for food, which was awesome and very quick, witnessed a very rude and difficult older lady enter and was really rude and difficult to the young host. The employee handled it perfectly, much better than I would have. Hate seeing our elders being abusive to the young folks who are just trying to earn a living. Just thought I'd comment on how well she handled it. Our server was great too. She has worked here for years and never needs a pen and paper. ❤️“
