Happy Jack's Restaurant

Such a great evening we had at Happy Jack’s. The food came surprisingly very quickly. Everything we ordered was very much delicious. Teagan served us extremely politely and she kept the distance at the perfect level to give us the privacy and at the same time she checked us frequent enough in case we needed something else. I was delighted with the sound quality. You can clearly hear the music while you can talk to each other in lower soft voice and you can hear and understand the conversation. The music choice was also great. It’s been awhile since I left a restaurant so pleased. Thank you all who made our evening so enjoyable.

We were really pleased with our dinner for our first time at Happy Jack’s. I had a great beef dip, a full meal to be sure. A family member said his Mac & Cheese was the best he’s ever tried. We also thought the colors and decor inside were well chosen.

Absolutely outstanding experience at Happy Jack’s. The service was excellent and fast, and the brie burger was hands-down the best burger I can remember eating—and I’ve tried a lot of burgers up and down Vancouver Island. Perfectly cooked, incredibly flavourful, and clearly made with care. Highly recommend if you’re a burger fan. We’ll definitely be back.

Was there late summer with my family. Server was completely disinterested in serving us. The food was terrible and a rip off for what you get. Took forever get the bill to pay at the end because our server was too busy talking with a table whom seemed like regulars. Wouldn't recommend this place

We were visiting Vancouver Island and ordered take out dinner from Happy Jacks.The staff were friendly and our food was ready within 5 or 10 mins of us arriving. The meal portions were very small. We assumed by the prices of the meals that they would be a decent size and enough food to fill you up. The poutine box had maybe a dozen waffle fries in it, you could see the bottom of the box. We ordered pasta as well and it came in a small box similar to the size of a regular NYFries box. We were very disappointed to pay almost $90 with tip and still be hungry after dinner. Oh and I had ordered a meal with a gluten free bun (extra$) and my sandwich was made with toast? Was it gf? Idk...couldn't risk eating it so had to just eat the insides of the sandwich. It was kind of a joke really....
