Was pleasantly surprised by this place! Our server Gavin was amazing and I had the best steak of my life. Decor and plating reminded me of the 90’s. Would be the perfect place for a nice family dinner. People were dressed in all kinds of attire.
There was a note that they were understaffed but we had no delays due to our wonderful server! They were out of some options such as both pastas and lamb chops. Not sure if that is a common occurrence but if you are really craving something specific or are a picky eater maybe call ahead :)

When I first walked into this restaurant with my best friend and my daughter, I immediately fell in love with the way it was set up. We had a server, Gavin, he made the meal and company fun, humor, and very pleasant. Food was fabulous and the service, amazing. Second time in, we had a waitress, very friendly and kind and another great night. Thank you, wonderful staff, all worked together as a team. I will always return when I can.

We had the best meal!!! The mussels are to die for!!! I was given a moment to even say good bye to the remnants of the sauce - it was that amazing! Seafood sampler and the prime rib were the meals that we enjoyed, and the cheesecake for dessert! Delicious! Paired our meals with the Barossa and it was all perfect! The best thing about this restaurant is the service! Gavin was as fantastic as everyone says! You have to try this beautiful place!!!!

Best steak ever. Back in parksville and we hit up our favorite restaurant Kelvas! Great waiter great food great atmosphere.
We ordered the escargot and the schnitzel. Really nice food! Josh the server is the best.

We had failed to make reservations for dinner and were trying to get in at different restaurants for the evening. We were recommended to try Kalvas from one of the other restaurants that were full and I really appreciated the recommendation. They seated us immediately without a reservation, they said they were short staffed but the service was incredible. The food was excellent. The restaurant is a little dated inside but still lovely..

I didn’t grab the man’s name but he was very tall, informative and HILARIOUS server. You could tell he was well versed on the menu but made us feel very comfortable and at ease (even with our two toddlers) had a lovely meal and he even brought a bucket of ice for my toddler who was fishing ice out of her water. Props to you guys! Thanks again
