I have been coming here for over 15 years, and have always been able to count on delicious and pretty healthy meals from Lefty’s. Not sure what the menu change was about, but now you’ll be hard pressed to find something that isn’t deep fried, and all the favourites are simply gone. Strange in a time when most of us are trying to eat more healthy. I finally settled on what I thought would be healthy lettuce wraps, which was basically a huge pile of iceberg lettuce (like a full half head- waaaaay too much) with about 3 breaded and deep fried and over spiced prawns. Incredibly disappointing, and that was my last visit to a place I had loved. On the other hand, the newish Mexican place down the street was amazing!

I looked up reviews of this place and thought it would be a decent choice for food and drinks. They might be fake as the food was sub par at best, super expensive even for Vancouver island prices and there are literally rats running away with chicken wing bones under the table. The mile high club house sandwich is not as good as the cheapest clubhouse from a diner usually is no mayo no butter no love.

Dogs Allowed on Patio As long as it is nice weather you can sit outside on the patio with your door.
Our food was ok and service was ok. Nothing stellar but good and simply prepared eats. Just like you make at home

The place is pretty Gross, the table was sticky, had to get someone to wipe it. The menu is printed off on one sheet of printer paper, food stains and all, the coffee was terrible, even though the waitress said she loves the coffee there and they get quite a few comments on how good it is. I usually drink my coffee black, but this was so bad that I added 2 packs of sugar, and half a creamer of milk...the coffee was still pretty black and now cold, tasted so bad I didn't drink it. I ordered a clubhouse sandwich, and it came with what looked like thousand Island dressing slathered on the edges of the part where you would typically take a bite, so much so that I couldn't even taste anything else in the sandwich. I certainly won't go there ever again!

LEFTY'S left us in the dust. Probably the worst cup of coffee ever. Our table was stick y; server says its the varnish lifting (still gross!). Meals were not ok. Hubby's clubhouse covered in a Thousand Island type sauce, making the bread soggy & disgusting. The atmosphere was more like a tired greasy spoon café than a trendy bistro. Lefty's...do better...get it Right.
