My husband and I recently started dropping in here and the baking is delicious . We have to limit ourselves as to how much we buy each week…haha. The prices are really reasonable and the quality is amazing. The potato buns are number one!!!

A real hidden gem!Got a light rye that was so fresh they couldn’t seal the bag right away. Also sampled peanut butter cookies, Nanaimo bars and butter tarts (made without corn syrup) that were scarfed down immediately - given their deliciousness. This place is run by a hard working, really nice lady (perhaps Nana herself?) and a very polite young man.Was quite impressed by their pricing - which was more than fair. You just can’t beat quality products, baked with premium ingredients, made by experts.A genuine locally owned and operated small business which has earned our support.Heading back there today to sample more of their wide array of goodness.

Do not waste your time here. First impression: the place was dirty. Some sort of fluid running out of the glass display case. Yuk. Second: no wonderful baking odors. We bought a horribly tasteless chocolate brownie. WTH. Gross. Their cinnamon buns clearly have no cinnamon. As well, the dough was tasteless and had the EXACT texture of a loaf of bread that was supposed to be sourdough. It's as if no salt or sugars or yeast were used where appropriate. Looked like a knock off of Cobbs breads. Everything made from the same tasteless bread/dough. I could not post this warning with zero stars. I had to click on at least one. Seriously, this place is awful.

I've bought fresh baked goods here previously but the $15 worth of bagels I bought today were hard and stale. I would have returned them but the cost of fuel makes it cheaper to just throw them out. It's not a place I'll be stopping at in the future.

I wish I could rate even higher- I can't say enough about this wonderful place run by wonderful people. They went so far above and beyond for an order that I was speechless, and the baked goods are utterly decadent and delicious. Totally stellar in all ways!

A regular stop for us when we are in the area. Awesome fresh baking and at a reasonable price. Highly recommend

To begin with, the bakery is exposed to see all that is happening, with presentation cases full of goodies in the foreground to tempt the senses! Everything is made from scratch, with no preservatives, so it's doubly important not to linger too long on what to choose to enjoy; fresher the better! From breads of many types, to blueberry tarts, or cheese scones, or just a plain croissant, you'll come back for more, guaranteed! And that's what happened with us, we had a few goodies, went camping at Telegraph Cove, and on the way back down the island, replenished our supply!

My partner ordered me a ladybug cake for my birthday the other day. It tasted like sawdust. He specifically asked them to use butter cream icing and no whipped cream and they made the whole cake with fondant and whipped cream. It was so dry and crusty. They also spelled my name wrong. We definitely won’t be ordering anything again. They refused to give a refund. We have the whole cake with only a chunk out of it because it was so gross and they will only give credit towards their other baked goods. Not very good customer service.

Super busy bakery with a wide variety of breads, buns, and baked treats (savoury and sweet). A small place, which often has a line up out the door. They move quickly, but re-affirms the popularity of the business. The staff was young, and very helpful and fun. Bread was good! Very tasty and multi - grained. The cookies were huge and tasty:)
