I have been going to the realm since it opened and unfortunately after this evening we won’t be going back. I use to rave about the food and bring my out of town guests but it’s just gone so down hill. Tonight I ordered a qualicum bowl and the pulled pork was so dry it was like chewing on wood chips. The rice was also dry and the cabbage was wilted and going brown. It was like everything was made days before and they were still trying to serve the last bit stuck to the sides of the container. People go out to dinner for an experience, not to eat leftovers, otherwise we would’ve stayed home.

I am not from the area, and was meeting my mom. On the advice of the gent at the order area, I got the IXIM Bowl and Mom got the chicken sandwich. Mine was delicious...sauces that were with the bowl were super flavorful and it was a filling meal. They offered local hot sauce which brought the flavor level up even more. They were very kind as to not rush us out as we were visiting which I thought was pretty special. I will be back next time in town and trying something new as the dishes that passed by us all looked fantastic!

I'm a big fan of paying first then getting your food so you can eat and run I wish more reasturants did this. Realms hydration stations a cool idea too. Perfect spot for a date night check it out ! As a gluten sensitive person, this is an amazing treat... all gluten free menu. The food is healthy and tastes delicious. We take guests who visit as this is an Oceanside top places to dine.
First time visiting this little gem. Love the options, so healthy and delicious. The vibe was relaxing with great music and beautiful decor. All the diners seemed pleased was their meals. You could hear people saying this is so good!!Our food arrive quickly and was artfully plated. Great care was taken with each dish. The flavour was amazing. I will definitely return and can’t wait to share this experience with my friends.

Bummed, and the price is crazy for the portion size. I would have left but I had no other ideas and was catching a ferry - was grabbing take out. I paid $28 for my tuna bowl (and that's including only a small tip). I could have got a whole dish of Manila clams & scallops for the same price at Qualicum Beach Cafe!! At Realm, there were only four, one inch pieces of tuna, which could have been marinated. The entire dish was well under seasoned. No flavour with rice. Nothing pickled. One whole note the entire dish. I honestly could have made this at home and they definitely would have been chopped as they did not transform one ingredient!! ? fresh ingredients, but won't return. Won't recommend. Staff were lovely!!

Wow!!! The food is PHENOMENAL!!! Bowls, wraps,etc. vibe is fantastic. Music compliments all of this. You will fuel your body and soul!! Must visit!!! The only downfall is that they’re not in Vancouver.. or maybe it’s best this way… the gem of Parksville, van island.
