Samurai Sushi & Teriyaki

After waiting for an hour for one simple tuna to be served (dine in), and watching many people picking up the take out food, the server first came to say it will come, then left again without food coming. The second time when asked again, the server came back saying they ran out of rice and cannot make it. However a line of people was still taking the take outs.
No sincere apology, just said she won’t charge for it. When asked for another option to order she said they are closing she would have to check with a manager although people were still picking up the takeouts and the kitchen was working. No compensation for time wasted, no empathy, no options.
It was not a nice experience sitting and waiting for a single roll while they were hanging big take outs to tell me after more than hour and a half that they cannot make it.

Great sushi place! They forgot about one of our orders but corrected it quickly and took off our drinks on our bill. Very appreciative of their quick actions, thank you!

Came here for lunch and got a bento box, really gracious serving size and very fresh food I would absolutely come again so delish!!

Sent back two of our meals. Fatty chicken, soggy, had a piece of bone. Rolls and spicy miso soup were ok. It was so busy with take-out that our server never came back, food was missing, not a great experience. Won't be coming back.

Ordered online evening snack while in town with family - Philadelphia, firecracker and three piece toro nigiri
Front desk girl on pickup unfortunately gave impression she wasn’t having a great day.
Rolls were tasty and good portions, toro was a definite thumbs down - freshness was off, couldn’t eat.

This place got me into sushi when I was a teenager about ten years ago. It was my favorite place to get sushi, and I have fond memories of everyone talking about how this was the place to go.

It is a shell of a shell of its former self these days. It legitimately makes me sad that I cant get that great sushi here anymore.

Sad product, terrible prices for the quality, please do better.

Probably ok if you eat it there; takeout was nasty because they sandwiched COLD sushi in between HOT dishes. 80 degree sushi is absolutely 🤮
