I had the best experience dealing with sweet spot bake shop, not only was their customer service amazing, the fruit muffins were such a yummy treat for my toddler and her friends at her birthday party. I also got myself a few muffins when in store when I did my pick up and they were to die for!

Our bachelorette walked in to get our bride some treats and the owner was just about to close, but was more than happy to take us in. She was in a rush to start her daughter’s grad activities and ended up sending us with extra goodies as she had some extra stock left over! Great experience and so happy for her daughter. And do not worry, the treats pack a punch! I’m not usually a fan of gluten/dairy free things, but the chocolate cupcakes were my favourite of the bunch. Thank you and will be visiting again when they have the sold out items!

Everything in here is delicious, the smell of warm baked goodies hits you as soon as you walk in the door, but what made our experience at this bakery truly special was the woman behind the counter!! She was so welcoming and friendly. Her cheery energy was contagious and her passion for her work was clear as she told us about all the options we could choose from and explained how everything was made in house. Thank you so much for such a wonderful first time shopping in your bakery, we can’t wait to come back for more treats!!!! I will be recommending this spot to all my friends on the island. 💕

Stumbled across this lovely bakery while visiting from Texas! Truly such a gem hidden in this town. They have keto and gluten free options, and everything was made from scratch. They were incredibly friendly, and the cookies and tarts were delicious. Wish I found out about this place sooner. I’m coming back for more to try the pie! 10/10

Its always such a pleasure to stop in and stock up on treats. Whitney and her team have always gone above and beyond for any custom order, bringing my vision to life! Also, most appreciated, she remembers my wonky, uncommon allergy and is quick to point out if a treat i picked contains any so I can avoid (even if it breaks my heart). Its a weekly staple on my shopping list!

I popped in for a little breakfast nibble and ended up leaving with a breakfast sandwich and a lemon pie - both of which I had eaten before 10:30am. They were both so fresh and delicious, but I think the lemon pie may have catapulted me through a spiritual awakening. With one bite the clouds parted, birds sang, and my mom told me she loved me - Phenomenal!
The only hard part is going to be deciding what to try next.
The energy and service was amazing, prices are fantastic, quality can’t be beat, and taste was entirely next-level. Swing by and give them a try - you’ll be back to test the rest (and I’ll be right there in line with you).
I apologize for not having taken a picture - but I inhaled it all as I had no intention of writing a review… and by the time I realized it was so good that it REQUIRED a review I was already scraping pie filling off the bottom of the pan.

The smell colorfull walls and cheerful staff are almost as uplifting as the heavenly wall of aromas that overwhelm the senses upon entering!
Sweet Spot is an absolute hidden GEM. The cookies, croissants, and rice crispy square were delicious and so fresh. The americano coffee was expertly made. We were greeted with pure warmth and positive energy by the person behind the counter. I can't say enough good things about Sweet Spot. It will be a stop on every island road trip from now on!

Do yourself a flavour, try Sweet Spot for all kinds of treats. I’m there every Thursday for their vegan items which change from week to week.
I thought that I only like savoury scones but the sweet ones are just as tempting.
A lot of people order their specialty cakes which are beautiful. They even made me a vegan carrot cake and are very receptive to baking what you like. I just tried their cinnamon buns which are delicious.
Parksville is lucky to have an amazing Sweet Spot!

Sweet Spot is well named but they do savoury too. What draws me back every Thursday is that’s the day they do gluten free and vegan items. The shop is compact and it’s a feast for the senses with the only problem that it’s hard to choose what to take.
I’m addicted to their scones and cinnamon buns in addition to their pies and other treats. Some of their treats don’t even make it home.
Whitney and her team work hard to come up with a delectable array of goods including specialty cakes that are in great demand, especially for special occasions.
Looking forward to many more thursdays.
