I cannot recommend this place enough!! The service was amazing, our food came out in less than 10 minutes and it was easily the best wrap I’ve ever had. The owner (the person that served us) was so kind. I will definitely be back!!

Very cute and homey bistro. Their house recipe hot sauces are great, especially the made in house Habanero.Yucatan prawns, pulled pork burrito, and taco salad with pulled pork were all delicious!We'll definitely be back next time we're in Parksville. ???

What a little gem! Popped in to grab takeout and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! We got the pulled pork tacos and a beef burrito. Both were delicious. A highlight was the house made jalapeno hot sauce. It was so bright and flavourful. I'd have drank it if there was enough. Can't recommend this place enough.

Got take out...took my 20$ salad out and what a joke..they couldn't even give me lettuce to fill the bowl! Never again.
I've going there since they opened, never a bad meal, service excellent, and atmosphere is good.. the only down side is it's too small they need to expand... but that also has its down side ...I moved off island and always pop in for something to eat, always with a huge smile.. From small business meetings, to catching a friend and dropping ... if you read these I'll see on the sept 11th 2023 Ron

Awesome food when you can get it, kinda hard to grab a bite when they close so early but it is what it is. Enchiladas are amazing their homemade sauce and hot sauces are great. Not too many mexicanish places around town, this place does a really good job.

The location is out of the way but not to bad. The big issue with the place is the poor greeting of patrons,1. You much wait outside regardless of age2, A over worked waitress sticks her head out thedoor asking what you want, If you say takeout yourdiscouraged and sent to the back of the line, If you say wellcan you go in and eat the waitress starts talking about howbusy they are then starts ignoring you moving on to the nextperson standing outside.Being from Seattle and the southwest I did not find the food very traditional Mexican salsa's lacked traditional flavors and heat.Possibly more for the westerners tastes but for me I expect better if its called a Mexican Bistro.I was excited to have a new place for one of my favorite foods but the lack of manners and feeling like they are doing you a favor really turned me off.

I was very much anticipating trying out this restaurant. I have to tell you that I wanted to compare with my current favourite Mexican restaurant called “Baby Salsa” in Nanaimo. First of all, I was surprised that I wasn’t offered complimentary nacho chips and salsa. This is always appreciated to munch on when waiting for the meal to arrive. I ordered two chicken tacos which came with an approximate amount of chicken and various veggie toppings. The taco shell was excellent. I thought the tacos were good but not outstanding. Definitely not as good as a comparable “Gringo” from Baby Salsa. The included salsa was very bland and probably is intended to appeal to the general public. There are three different types of house hot sauces available for those who want a little extra heat. I thought the service was very good and the food arrived in about 10 minutes or so. Overall, a good choice for a Mexican restaurant. It’s the only one around the Parksville/Qualicum Beach area so that’s a good thing. I gave it three stars out of five. It’s almost a four but not quite there yet.
