The shrimp pad Thai was really oily and it would look like you ordered carrot mountain pad Thai. We ended up going to the McDonald’s across the street.

If you are in Parksville this a really good Thai restaurant to try. Very friendly and polite servers. Authentic tasting green curry and good potion size.

Worst Thai food I ever ate! Tasteless and bland unseasoned food. Go to Thai Smile instead, you won't be disappointed. Staff was kind and friendly ;but that does nothing to offset the flavorless food.

We ordered take out from here just now and I have to say it’s unimpressive. Thai is my favourite food and so I have eaten Thai food across the world and of differing quality. This is my first review of a Thai restaurant because it’s really not good. I chose to order here because of the above 4 star rating it receives in the reviews but the flavor of the food and value for money here is a 3 at best. $19 for a Pad Thai or a Pad See Ew that had no flavor and is quite small in size is far out of the range of what a $20 pad Thai will get you at 95% of places that I have gone to with a 4 star.

I got my daughter the fried rice and it’s more in the grocery store buffet level. It’s bland, basic and definitely far from what I would expect from a Thai Restaurant.

Unless there is something else on this menu that is excellent I would spend your money elsewhere until they pull their flavor socks up.

Good Thai food at a good price! Good location coming from the beach and staff very friendly! Food is on the salty side and a bit too much oil, but maybe a hearty treat after a workout.

Terrible hours. Get a food truck rather that a restaurant!

Lovely little Thai restaurant with delicious spicy food and very generous portions! Delightful service and reasonable prices. Overall, a great experience.

I’ve never had bad Thai food—until now. Unfortunately, my experience at White Elephant was extremely disappointing. The green curry had no flavor at all—just heat, no taste. The rice was undercooked and seemed to be very low quality. The chow mein was oddly sweet, and the noodles were clumped together because the container was far too small for the portion size.
I ended up throwing everything away. I truly don’t understand how this place gets anything above a 2-star review. I won’t be ordering from them again—it was a complete waste of time and money.

Absolutely love this place. The food is amazing, authentic, and the service is out of this world. Generous portions as well. Highly recommend!

Went for take out last year. The website has not updated the price that you pay at the till, and they charge you 25 cents for their cloth bag I didn’t ask for. Their curry has gotten bland.
