From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at home. Everyone was warm and attentive, with a special shoutout to Shauna for her friendliness and excellent service. Little details added to the charm—most notably the adorable pizza scissors 😊, which somehow make sharing a pizza even more fun. The menu itself strikes a great balance between elevated and approachable, and families will be pleased to know there’s a kids menu available, even though it isn’t clearly advertised online. It’s a genuinely welcoming spot for diners of all ages.
Our return visit in Summer 2025 confirmed what we already suspected: 19 Bistro @ Fitz is consistently excellent. It has now become an annual tradition for us, and it’s hard to imagine a trip to the Okanagan that doesn’t include those iconic pizza scissors. This time, we explored more of the menu, sampling sparkling wines and appetizers that were every bit as impressive as the pizzas. The quality of the offerings is hard to beat, especially when paired with the stunning location and attentive staff.
With a larger group this year, we were impressed by how accommodating the team was. Afterward, a leisurely stroll through the vineyard provided the perfect ending to an already exceptional experience.

I brought guests to this winery expecting a great experience, but what happened was deeply concerning. I found a hard, sharp shard in my pizza — something that did not resemble salt in appearance or texture. When I brought it to the staff’s attention, I was told it was “just salt.” My plate was taken away and whatever “test” they claimed to do happened out of sight. While I was at the restaurant I never saw the results, never got an apology, and there was no meaningful acknowledgment of what happened.
Whether it was glass or not, the issue for me was how it was handled: with dismissal, defensiveness, and what felt like dishonesty. As a guest responsible for others’ safety, I left feeling unheard and misled.
When customer safety is involved, transparency matters. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful late lunch with friends from Texas who were very impressed by the setting, and delighted by the quality of the food. We appreciated the range of vegetarian options and very much enjoyed the friendly and experienced staff For me, this is one of the best value-for-quality-and-setting restaurants in the Okanagan and I love having it available for us to take special friends to, or simply for a quiet meal ourselves.

Wheelchair accessible parking spots had one vehicle in them and there was not sufficient parking to two vehicles. Dorve up to the side entrance and the door was locked. The front door had no wheelchair accessible button to allow access to building. Sat outside, the table was wobbly, there were crumbs and debris between the slats of the table, the staff was dressed very casually. The price point on the wines sold on site was exorbitant in the restaurant, very disappointing so we did not purchase any of the wines with our meal. The food was very tasty and delivered hot.

If you're taking a trip through the Okanagan, 19 Bistro @ Fitz is worth the stop. Staff were friendly and quick to seat us. Their wines come directly from Fitzpatrick Winery, and their wine recommendations paired perfectly with our food. The Elusive woodfire pizza was our personal favourite. Last but not least they have some of the best views in the Okanagan! A glass of wine on their patio can't be beat. Make sure to book a reservation if you're visiting on the weekend.

We enjoyed our dinner, the location, the ambiance, the views were amazing! Where I feel was not satisfactory is our server's understanding of the wines. For any server working at a winery should be higly educated on their wines. As well, our server did not advise that my request for my food order could be accommodated, and served my dish. It was ok, but I would have expected to be advised.
We had an amazing lunch to celebrate my daughter's 19th birthday. The drinks and food were all amazing and prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, the sound system speakers were blown so music was being played over a speaker, that's fine except when whoever was carrying the device linked to the Bluetooth walked out of range the music would cut in and out. That's really the only thing though that I would suggest to have improved our experience. Will be back!

For the mains, the fish tacos were an absolute blast, the burger was spot-on, and the pasta was rich and flavourful. The drinks were fabulous, not just in taste, but also in presentation. The ambiance was beautiful and relaxing, but what really stood out was the staff. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and gave thoughtful suggestions without rushing us at all. That made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a marvellous evening, great food, great drinks, and exceptional service. Definitely worth a visit!
