Bistros in Peachland

“The Fitzpatrick Family Vineyards in Peachland is a lovely winery with an absolutely amazing view of Okanagan lake. My wife and I stopped by here as we were driving through the Okanagan on a self guided wine tour. We checked out their lovely winery and they have a wide selection and my wife enjoyed her tasting (I don’t drink wine myself). Their gift shop is very nice as well and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

It would be a lovely place to sit on their patio, sip wine (water for me!) and enjoy the beautiful scenery in the summer, spring or fall. Just off of the highway all by their lonesome, in a pristine area.“

“My wife and I tried various baked goods: a pulled pork roll, salty chocolate cookies, a pecam tart, almond croissants and a spinach and feta croissant. There was also a house brew coffee with espresso in it.

First of all: By Canadian standards, the coffee tasted quite good, from a European perspective (otherwise, in my opinion, the brewed coffee in CA is mangy, there is never fresh coffee from a fully automatic machine).

The baked goods are all our own interpretations. So please don't expect the light, crumbly pastry from France when it comes to croissants. The almond thing, for example, was quite large and powerful. BUT: Everything tasted excellent, was not bitterly sweet (as usual in CA), but was very balanced in taste.

The staff was very well organized and friendly.
