Stopped in for a quick lunch on our way home. The gentleman who helped us was so friendly, We had a great time eating our lunch and chatting.

Another good spot in Pemberton

Sign out front said they're only serving ice creme & pizza. I got a menu and sat in a booth. Ten minutes later l walked out as the owner ignored me. The place was empty. I went down the street to eat elsewhere. Maybe they don't need money....a tourist.

This old-school, family-owned deli is a true gem. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that make you feel right at home. The place has a charming, authentic vibe that’s hard to find nowadays.

The food is delicious — every bite full of flavor and clearly made with care. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality. It’s the kind of spot where you can enjoy a comforting meal without breaking the bank.

The only small downside is that the portions were a bit smaller than expected, but the taste more than made up for it. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a heartfelt, local dining experience!

I have never felt more warmly welcome in an establishment! I was in Pemberton for work and stopped in on my first evening, everyone was kind and warm. I spent some time talking to the owner who truly has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I've ever met. On top of the atmosphere, the food was great and I came back the next day.

I love this place

This the nicest place I have been to so far in Canada after two weeks. I stumbled in during a short break on a long bike ride and I was welcomed warmly by the owner, who kindly directed me around. The food was great, and they have this great model train running in the store. It was also the first place in Canada that did not ask for a tip on the card-machine. Unfortunately, I did not have cash on me, because they are so reasonably priced that I would have tipped 20%.
