It's a bit pricey for us, but the atmosphere and food are pretty good.

Food quality mixed. Depends on what you order, I guess. Poke Bowl was good and tasty, but way overpriced at $28. Chicken wings over fried. The replacement wings weren't any better. Extremely disappointing. Again not cheap. Fries, I thought were a frozen brand then fried. Not that great. Substitute a salad for the fries and they charge an extra $2.50. Service was fine.

The only thing worse , than the burnt fish with chips (that 5 of 7 guests ordered)….was the S &P burnt wings we were given for takeout! They were so overcooked and disgusting, unacceptable. Service was so slow , did not appear to be overly busy, lots of staff?? Would not recommend

The Pony is my go to place for burgers when passing through Pemberton. I’ve never been disappointed and service has always been top notch. Yesterday during the Covid season they were open for takeout and once again great service and generous portions. Thanks again!
5 year later June 2025 edit: The food is still fantastic but I nearly fell over with the new prices. I know everyone is suffering the effects of inflation but just wow...$28 for a burger and fries? One burger, one coffee, and one donair came to $70 with tip. I may have to reconsider stopping here going forward which makes me sad.

I ordered the gourmet burger, and it was fantastic! The burger was huge and delicious, and the side of fries was generous too. I went during dinner time, and although the atmosphere was cozy, the lighting was a bit dim, making it a little hard to read the menu. Overall, a great spot for a tasty, satisfying burger!
Super friendly waitress, delicious food. Would recommend! Can’t go wrong with the gourmet burger with/ Poutine.
