BEST food I’ve eaten in a long time. Really!
The Tree Hugger & the Nicoise could contend on Top Chef Canada’s Takeout Wars!
Job well done, The Pony.
And thanks for the delightful addition to my evening!
Highly recommend 👌🏻
I ordered the gourmet burger, and it was fantastic! The burger was huge and delicious, and the side of fries was generous too.
I went during dinner time, and although the atmosphere was cozy, the lighting was a bit dim, making it a little hard to read the menu. Overall, a great spot for a tasty, satisfying burger!

Friendly and welcoming. Great food and staff that are happy to accommodate and chat. A good mix of locals and visitors with both inside space and outdoors and seats at the bar. Plenty of parking.

We came in and there was only one other table of people sitting. Yet the waitress took ten minutes to bring us menus and made a comment about us looking impatient. I had to chuckle. The food was good but expensive- we won’t be returning with that kind of attitude of the staff. We like to feel welcome at a restaurant, not like a distraction from the waitress’ phone.

This is a cozy place with a good small mountain town vibe. Despite busting at the seams, we got some seats at the bar. I ordered their signature Ceasar salad and it was one of the best things I ate in Canada so far. I could swear each lettuce leaf was hand-smeared with dressing to have the right taste. So crispy that I almost went around the back to look for their veggie garden where they might pick it for each order ( obviously not, but still wow!). Their range of local beers is always appreciated and valued in small communities like this. It was delight to watch the bar tender's (Johnny, I think) craft at work and have a wee chat about music and concerts. Will come back next time in Canada. The salad will stay on my top 10 meals for a while 😊
