This is the third time i came here and i ordered the same thing chana palato , waitress said would you like a bread on the side i said sure..the dish had everything except lentils and the rice was so salty i couldn’t finish it..and i paid twice price with tip and they charged $5 for a piece of bread ..the menu prices are nearly double from the last time we ate here $30 for a burger i feel completely ripped off the fries was awful too :( we’ll never go back there again..damn :(

The Q bowl was excellent. Our other meal was the kids chicken and fries. When we went to pay there was an extra fry and extra chicken side added on. $15.00 extra. Check your bills everyone. They conveniently don’t give you your itemized break down of charges unless you specifically ask for it.

Fries great (reminded me of the old school Swiss Chalet crispy and soft and mixed sizes) Good Caesar - some kale (again reminded me of Swiss chalet but I think Swiss is better 😉 mostly because they put big chunks of parmesan). My friend found his chicken sandwich a bit small for the price and I found the bison burger not as juicy as described by server. And in a perfect circle - which always make sus if they are being pre-made and frozen and if bought in bulk. You can always tell when you get a fresh handmade burger that chars well on grill. Didn't seem to have the fatty freshness to get that crusty grill flavour/texture. Cost $2 extra for BBQ sauce (really good tho) on top of 27 for thinner than hoped burger and Caesar.
Following suit with other folks and saying overpriced but if u need those prices to keep lights on maybe just find a way to improve perceived value xoxo 😘

I had the fried chicken. It was such a dark brown it was almost black. The coating was hard and thick. It had a very strong awful flavour. I had 2-3 small bites. I couldn’t even place what it tasted like and it smelled terrible. I asked the waitress what was on it and she said something like “hundreds of spices”. I told her I wouldn’t be eating the chicken at all. She said “sorry I but I can’t give you a discount.” I’ve never heard of this. My husband had the beef burger. He thought it was so-so. I tried a bite and the flavour and texture of the meat was odd. The fries were very over done. Very nice people but the food is just terrible. And expensive btw especially without discounting the horrible chicken. They need an actual chef.

They have a very nice outdoor seating area, and the server was happy to accommodate our request for quick service (we were hungry but had to get back on the road quickly); the steelhead trout burger was yummy, as well as the side salad.

Small town diner vibes. Celiac friendly restaurant. The fryers are naturally gluten free. I got the fried chicken sandwich with slaw and it was stunningly good with a surprisingly very good ciabatta like gluten free bun. Lots of gluten free options on the menu too. This will be my main stop through Pemberton from now on!

The colour lady with the extensions didn’t tell me she auto granted our bill and I tipped on top of it. I feel pissed off.
Very very good food. I rarely say that. I recommend the short rib, steelhead, or ultimate poutine. All have very good flavors.
