I've been here 10 times, 3 or 4 times they have had the door locked 2 hours before closing (1pm) This is due to them selling out of buns to make the sandwiches. Not because their sandwiches are so great. But due to poor management/ownership. They would rather save on unsold buns. Than to make more revenue and retain their customers. As a fellow business owner, this blows my mind! As I sit in my vehicle and search for alternatives, I notice endless customers are being turned away! They even have a system so silly to call and reserve your bun, so you don't miss out. The staff are nice and the sandwiches are good. But this place has let me down far too many times. I will not be returning and just a side note for management. You probably are not noticing a loss in customers. Due to population growth, just look how busy the local roads are vs a couple of years ago!
One of the best sandwich shops. Options were limited but each sandwich crafted to perfection, loved their soup.

Ok, so I have a new favorite sandwich joint! Went to get some sandwiches for the crew and they were closed(Tuesday after a long weekend). I looked in the windows and the ladies were just finishing a HUGE catering job. As we were walking away we were called back, invited in and they made us the most amazing and huge sandwiches! Homemade honey dill mustard is incredible. Thank you so much Lunch Doctor!

On our journey driving from Alaska to Arizona, my husband and I made it a priority to stop at The Original Lunch Doctor in Pitt Meadows, BC for lunch. Why? Because my grandmother, Elsie Hatlen, is the founder of this local legacy and amazing sandwich shop! I haven't been here in at least 30 years (I was somewhere between 7 and 10 years old) when Grandma let me help in the back kitchen. The giant mixer was my favorite - and apparently it's still there! It was really neat to be back in Grandma's old shop. We missed the current owner today but visited with all the ladies there, left an original "The Original Lunch Doctor" jar opener for them (the info is even still the same), enjoyed a *fabulous* lunch, and watched them totally sell out - at one point there was a line out the door! It warms my heart how much folks love this place still. Grandma Elsie started something amazing that still lives on... as does she! Still zesty and kind as always, but in Texas instead of Canada. Thank you so much for the hospitality and full bellies! ❤️ 10,000 out of 5 stars, highly recommend!
Been going to lunch doctor for years and years and it never disappoints! I recently went and got my usual turkey sandwich on French and it was delicious. The only negative was that as I was walking in, I saw one of the employees was outside smoking a cigarette with her apron on, went to go throw something in the garbage can and grazed her apron on the garbage can. Might not be a bad idea for management to go over food safe expectations with the employees. Other than that everything was great as per usual!

Sometimes you just need a sandwich. Like a really really good sandwich and this is the place.
I love this place and their sandwiches. Obviously everyone else agrees! But WHYYYYYYY must you always be sold out at LUNCH time?!? Like… order more food? So that people can get lunch. I don’t know. More like Breakfast Doctor.

Couldn't find any prices when I ordered. Wasn't expecting soup sandwich to cost upwards of $30. They surprise customers with the price, it seems. To me, that's a shady business practice.

I just had the breakfast sandwich, and it was amazing. Four or five varieties of different types of buns, freshly baked this morning.
Highly recommend this place!
