OPA! of Greece Meadowtown

I haven’t been here in a few years and decided to go there for a change and wow what a disappointment the food is. I ordered the calamari with a skewer of lamb for over $20 and after the first two bites I realized the calamari was mostly batter. It had the tiniest little bit of meat. I started crunching up all the pieces to see if it all was like that and it was an embarrassment how 80% of the meal I just paid over $20 for was mostly wilted lettuce and batter. Now I’m annoyed and still hungry, awesome.

Got delivery, so can’t speak to the establishment itself, but the food was cold and the portion for $27 floored me (see photo for the $27 worth of food - that was it). Definitely will not be ordering from this place again. No value for your money.

I have ordered from this OPA many times in the past however today when I ordered something was way off. I’m not sure if they’re under new management or ownership but I was super disappointed with how my order was handled. I called in with my order about 20 minutes before I was going to get to the store, I realized after calling my order in that I missed something, so I called back a couple minutes later to add it to the order and was put on hold for several minutes with no response. Eventually, I just hung up. I called back again a few minutes later and was able to add the item to my order, but when I arrived at the shop 20 minutes later they hadn’t even started the order. I paid and had to wait for the order to be made. Meanwhile, several people who ordered and paid after me received their food before I received mine. What was the point of calling 20 minutes beforehand to have the food made? They also didn’t really say anything to explain why the order wasn’t ready. I won’t be back.

opa was my favourite until i tried it from here.
the wrap was so bad… i think they even forget to add feta cheese and tzatziki in it.

Food was horrible and the portions were so small .One tiny skewer of meat . my wife had the chicken which was very bland I had the lamb which was flavourless as well . We paid $56 dollars for the tiny meals .

We ordered 2 mega platters through Skip. Well mega platter is more like a one person platter. Priced out at $22.00 per platter. Complete rip off! Food wasn’t great!

By far the worst opa in the lower mainland.
The portions are ridiculously small, we got a mega opa platter and a wrap with fries. It cost around $50 and it was not nearly worth that.
The platter had little to no greek salad, maybe 3 bites total and the rest was lettuce. The other portions- rice/potato weren't very mega at all.
The wrap was so small with barely any toppings inside. The meat was dry and the fries on the plate were basically non existent.
They don't allow refills on a drink that costs $3+ and ...make sure you don't forget to order extra tzatziki because if you ask for a small one they will make you pull your debit out for however many cents it is.

If you want good opa, I highly* recommend the one in Mission. Night and day.

I love opa but avoid this location , portions on everything are extremely small . I feel ripped off very disappointed ..

Ordered on Uber, food quality is really bad now was the first time I ate there in a year and also the last time.
Save your money and make something at home!

Worst opa I've been to. I usually love their food at other locations. I ordered 2 pita wraps with everything on them and calamari. The 2 pita wraps ended up having 95% lettuce and hardly any meat with none of the other topping I ordered. The calamari was undercooked and about 10 pieces for 12 dollars. Terrible experience and I will never order from this location again.

Food is decent, served by kind good people, reasonably clean.

Order beef souvlaki and Caesar salad combo, and they served without pita. They asked for 4 dollars for pita if I wanted to add it back. Who hired the rapper to be a cashier?

This location is particularly not good. The service is bad and the workers are not even paying attention to your requests. The food was not good at this location and dry. Please hire new staff thank you.
