I ordered hamachi. Paid 18 dollars. It was rancid. The restaurant would not take responsibility and provide me with a refund as it was ordered through Door Dash. Door Dash wouldn't take responsibility as it is a food quality issue. After 2 phone calls the restaurant continued to refuse a refund. And as you can see in the owners response below, their customer service tactics are less than professional.

Wow!!!! I ordered delivery for the first time and I am impressed. The yam tempura is the best I’ve ever had - I can actually taste the vegetable and not just grease. The roll also is clearly made with fresh ingredients that all come together so nicely. Thank you Alberni Sushi I will be ordering again

California roll, 8pc. Tightly rolled, so it won't fall apart. Plenty of Wasabi and ginger chopped to bite size. Beer class perfectly frosted. Nice feature was seaweed soft so it can be bitten off easy. Wondering if other roll types are just as good, I try other time. But for now I trust California roll.

My husband and I have gone on a few lunch dates dine-in and we have also had a great experience with take-out. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. There is also a tall, brown haired waitress (forgive me for not recalling her name) she's a doll! Always smiling and professional. We never leave disappointed with the food or service.
