I had friends visiting from Fort Nelson, he had the Halibut and chips. The batter was light, and the fish was fresh and tender. We also had the tuna poke bowl, which had a wonderful spice level and the cauliflower bowl was was also delicious! Our server was fantastic as well
The food is flavorful and well-prepared, with something on the menu for everyone. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, and the staff are friendly and attentive. A solid choice for a casual dining experience—definitely worth a visit.
We had such a cute date night here in Port Alberni at the Bare Bones Fish House & Smokery. After getting a recommendation to go here from a local, we decided that it would be a great place to try. And it was! The calamari is incredible and I definitely recommend it.
