Can’t make pad Thai to save their life. SO much water it was like soup. This happened more than once. We ordered on the app, showed up and were told it “wasn’t received” showed proof on our phone and then they started making it. No apology.

Perfect place for a quick bite! The tempura chicken bites were hot and fresh, and our host Gulati was both friendly and personable!
My sister ordered the black bean garlic box which titillated our taste buds. Generous chunks of broccoli, carrots and onion were a delightful surprise.
They even offered us complementary gyoza (which everyone should try at least once)

I love this Noodle Box! I stop in and order almost every time I’m in Port Alberni, either myself or with my family. We can all our choose our own adventure with flavours and spice and there’s plenty of Gluten Free options are available. We can all eat healthier options while driving and the potions are great, often enough left over for a good snack later! The location is great and we can order then go fill up with gas, grab a coffee from Starbucks next store, and come back and get on the road. My two favourite things.. clean bathrooms and you can tell the woks are preheated as the veggies get a little caramelized. Black Bean and Garlic box, Chicken, rice noodles, medium hot. So good!

Very tasty food, quickly delivered. Yet the cashier even specifically asked if it is to go or stay and we wanted to eat it right there BUT all stuff was packed in to go boxes anyway. The proper bowls we standing right beside the to go boxes with plastic lids. Not only is it niceer to eat from ceramic than paper and plastic, it's an environmental thing. That's a no-go. There is no planet b!

This is our 4th or 5th time ordering from this location, and while the food is always good, I have some concerns about how hygienic this location is. While waiting for my order I watched the cook use his bare hands to transfer noodles from the prep station into the pan. Then once complete he used his bare hands again to add (uncooked) bean sprouts and peanuts onto my order. I did not witness any handwashing take place throughout this process and during this time he was using his hands to interact with a variety of tools, stopping occasionally to wipe them on his shirt. Far more direct handling of raw ingredients with bare hands than I am comfortable with. This is akin to subway and all of those folks wear gloves when handling raw food. Not what I like to see as a customer.

Showed up thinking my order online had gone through. The manager was quick to notice that there was an error. He put me ahead in line to make sure my order would come in good time. The spicy peanut box was the best I’ve had yet. Great service and better food than the Noodlebox in Courtney or Nanaimo!
