What makes it even more special is that it’s family run. The service is outstanding: friendly, attentive, and genuine. They treat you like part of the family, not just another customer.

just tried for the first time. wife and shared the seafood platter and it was amazing. service was exceptional aswell. can't wait to go back

The owner served us and was so personable! He told us some of the history of the restaurant and was very gracious with the elderly folks at our table. Huge portions!!

Our chicken souvlaki and moussaka were absolutely delicious! Portions are huge.
Food at other tables smelled amazing as well.

I visited this place after reading some great reviews—and they were absolutely right! We loved the warm and inviting atmosphere, but what stood out the most was how kind and welcoming the owner and their family were to us and our children. It’s a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal in Port Alberni and a lovely way to support a local family-run business. Highly recommended!

Excellent in every way. With a drive through burger costing just shy of $40 these days, this is the deal of the century. Being a single meal in the day establishment, I reserved a table but I didn't need to. An unsung local treasure right on the main drag.

The food is amazing and staff is wonderful! They offered to open early to host a function for 25 people and everything was fantastic! Lots of our of town guests and everyone said they would go back. Definitely worth it😊

First time there for dinner... Was pleasantly surprised with taste, quality and portion size. Nice to drive home and not complain about something which usually that happens at most restaurants you eat at nowadays. Orestes is worth every penny!!! Will definitely be going back!
