Spice7 Authentic East Indian Restaurant & Bar

Yesterday I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and it was a huge disappointment. The dish tasted more like Butter Chicken and was extremely sweet, even though I had specifically asked for it to be medium spicy. It completely lacked the authentic flavors I was expecting. Honestly, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with Indian cuisine.

It’s a nice big, bright space. The staff are so nice and friendly. The prices are very reasonable. We have done take out and eaten in for the Saturday night buffet. Every dish we have tried is delicious. The buffet has a good selection and it is refreshed often. The butter chicken is made with white meat and its flavourful, the goat biriani is amazing, the naan is really good, the fish pakora was crunchy and tasty i dont remember the names of the rest of the dishes but they were all tasty. We left full and the price was really reasonable.

Very authentic, very tasty and reasonably priced dishes. The presentation was awesome and the staff courteous and professional. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys quality Indian food.

The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The ladies there are so good with my 3 year old daughter when we dine in. My favorite dish of all time, is Butter chicken, and Spice 7 makes the BEST butter chicken!

Spice 7 delivers an outstanding Indian dining experience! The food was incredibly flavorful and authentic. The Goat Rogan Josh was a standout, tender, perfectly spiced, and full of rich flavour. Paired with fresh garlic naan and fragrant basmati rice, it was a truly satisfying meal.

The ambiance was warm and inviting, with beautiful decor and a relaxing atmosphere. The service was excellent friendly, attentive, and fast.

From start to finish, everything at Spice 7 was top-notch. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious, high-quality Indian cuisine!

I’ve eaten a lot of Indian food in my time and this place is as good as any I’ve had in Canada (including the 15 years I lived in Toronto). Want to blur the line between dinner and dessert? Order the coconut naan with your curry for a perfect sweet and spicy fusion. A perfect way to start or end a trip to the surf spots of Tofino.

This place is a must on my drive through port alberni. Delicious & heart warming cuisine! The spices are off the charts with flavours out of this world. I highly recommend the coconut honey naan and lentil mhakani 10/10

We were on a trip to Taylor river, on the way back we had the buffet from this amazing restaurant. Excellent service overall from seating till checkout. All the dishes were delicious except the spaghetti....but it was not that bad but maybe I had a feeling that it could have been better.

We love this restaurant for their amazing East Indian food. If you go for one of their buffet dates it is always great with fun dishes to try. The New Years Day buffet was amazing with many of my favourite dishes being served

Best food in town by far! As soon as you walk outside the restaurant you can smell all the amazing food! They are so friendly and reasonable prices for the huge portions you get! Definitely recommend this place :)
