We had 2 pieces of Ling Cod & Salmon Burger with Candied Salmon Chowder
Overall, the food was great.
I can see why they've won awards for the Chowder.
Cod was juicy, not dry at all very tasty.
I'm not sure if I'd get the Salmon Burger again - as the size of the salmon isn't too big - with 2 slices of tomatoes, it overpowers the salmon.
I'd definitely recommend visiting the restaurant if you are in Port Alberni.

The homemade soup of the day was amazing. I had to try both! Which is a menu option if you can't decide. They were both delicious. The mains had hearty portions and were very tasty also.

Dissapointed with the food and the price. A small portion of tarter sauce was an extra $2.00 as we were a group of eight I found this to be way over priced. Myself or our group will not be returning to this establishment.

The chef came out and chatted with us. Very friendly and helpful guy. The food was better than average and the beer that I had was delicious so I had another ( the house lager). The chef mentioned that there were a small pod of Orcas that put on a show er close to the restaurant. That would have been the icing on the cake to view

Sat outside and had a view of the harbour. Waitress was great. Had fish and chips. Very tasty.
We really enjoyed our meal here! We stopped in for a nice lunch on a rainy day and were super happy with our food and service. Our server was friendly and attentive and the menu had a ton of options, including a gluten free menu. And to top it off, the view of the inlet is very nice!
Dietary restrictions: Has a gluten free menu which is quite extensive
Parking: We were at the Harbour Quay two days in a row, and on a warm day it was fairly busy and it was a bit difficult to find parking. On a rainy day, it was very easy to park and we got parking right in front of the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Awesome kids menu with a variety of options.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is all level with the parking lot, so good wheelchair accessibility

Calimarie was rubber and hard, only 2 half ribs with chicken and ribs and chicken was dry. Shrimp was the only thing good. Not a good experience and waitress stressed for a tip!

A delightful lunch on their sunny patio.
We stopped there while visiting this city and completely unplanned. My family was glad as we did. The location was absolutely stunning with views extending right over the inlet.
The service was ok, quick, smiley and attentive.
