they are the best cake donuts I've ever had in my life.
Delicious!! Amazing!! I live in Ireland and every time I'm in Port Alberni a visit to the Donut Shop is a must. I go with my cousin Julie and my Great Aunt who had been a loyal customer for decades.
Sadly, weeks after a recent visit with my aunt, she peacefully passed away at the good age of 93. Instead of sending flowers, I sent donuts to my family and Abbeyfield Retirement Home where she was living.

Coming from Australia we were told the donuts were the best on Vancouver Island. Well we have visited again. They are not the best on Vancouver Island…. They are the BEST IN THE WORLD!!!
